I was under the impression she was 20+ when she married him, I saw no issues with a 18+ year old marrying an old man. If you meet after 18, it’s whatever, you’re both adults and can make your own decisions.
I understood it like the granpa just married the lady because of her business acumen to protect FL so that they would be able to interact more as grandpa's wife. But the lady really loved the grandpa. Plus it seems the translation was wonky but in return for protecting the FL for all her life, the lady asked granpa to sleep/hold her once which is why they got the kid
