I’m honestly glad the author ended it here. I really wouldn’t have wanted to read about the nobles not accepting her or more troubles with the king, I’m just glad that’s it.
It got steadily worse since the whole protagonist thing and reading the new chapter almost became a pain. So I think it’s better this ended here rather than dragging it out like an old chewing gum ( ̄∇ ̄")

Am I the only one who thinks this is all a bit too weird?
I mean they are not her real family, they’re just housing her for the duke until she’s her normal age again. She was kinda sent there against her will and is also just waiting to return to the duke (I mean she was ready to give her life for him???).
She gets tested to be taken into the family, still feels very distant from them/is even scared and all of a sudden they’re all buddy buddy and love her as their sister as if she was there all her life??
Then they (pretend?) to kill the duke she would have given her life for and all we get is a "He promised to give me cookies ;-;" and an annoyed look like "damn these brothers going around killing people again sigh" ????
Shouldn’t she be more concerned? Some strangers she has been sold to just killed the duke she worked for all her life???
Also why is she just accepting how they treat her as a child? Like with all the you’re too young to marry shit??? I mean she’s at least 10, if not even 20 years older than her bodily appearance??? Σ(っ°Д °)っ
We already know that whitey is the general ml of the story she fell into ...
... but who is the ml of her story?
Cause it doesn’t seem like she and villain boy are really related ( ̄∇ ̄") (and I’m getting some yandere vibes over here which have me tingling)
I'm pretty sure it's whitey still. The cover of the novel very much suggests it's him (she's holding his rose and he's holding hers)
