...and basically, what is going down is this...
SPOILER:
This is gonna be a bit long, so bear with me. I want to give a good overview because I keep reading details that are not true. I don't want people to look at that and say I'm not going near this comic/novel due to these issues. it's a real love story not just some guy using another guy but true love with all its slings and arrows.
I think we should request this for Lezhin guys because it's currently on Bookcube, and it's not even translated on there. Heck, I can't even get verified on there to look at the raws. I already did it myself, so please, if you want it in English, do it as well.
The uke, Jooheon is being bullied (although he truly is in love with him in secret) by Moochan (the blonde guy), and Lee Kang (black hair seme) saves him at the last moment. I'll be honest it looked as though Moochan wanted to sadly rape Jooheon, but we'll never know if he was going go through with it. He seems really frustrated that Jooheon is scared of him and won't I guess flirt back and want him, so he loses it after he quits the club because he wants him around. Plus, I do believe in his heart that Moochan doesn't want him to give up the extra money because he knows he needs it.
Jooheon is upset because Moochan wants to contact Jooheon's sister (Jee Hu) NOT knowing that Moochan is probably only saying that to see if Jooheon is gonna get jealous - which this is my assumption, but it makes sense because his only interest is Jooheon.
Moochan really tries hard throughout the novel to get Jooheon's attention, but he does it in ways that are always very inappropriate because he's very intimidating and violent. Once you understand Moochan a bit better, he seems to relate to Jooheon who is never happy (in his POV) and wants to be together to save themselves from a life of misery. Deep down this is what he wants, but he fails to come across as sincere which is why Lee Kang is so desirable to Jooheon.
There's a point in the novel where Moochan finally admits his feelings verbally in front of Lee Kang (after the seven years) and Jooheon (who has burst through the door during their argument), but Jooheon just stands up for Lee Kang. It leads to them making out because finally it all clicks for Lee Kang, and at that point, Jooheon can't resist him either. I lovvvvvvvveeeeee this part of the novel sooooo much, which is why I want a second season of the comic because it would be great to see it. Lee Kang is so romantic with the way he proposes to Jooheon in the car!
AND BACK TO THE NOVEL SUMMARY...
Lee Kang is basically asked by the homeroom teacher to look after Jooheon and push him to try harder in school because poor Jooheon has had a hard life (no parents, lives with grandmother who is not well herself, works part-time jobs to help raise sister who is training to be an idol, and he has little to no time to study). This is all for a scholarship too by the way which will help him get back into school and stop having to pay for everything, and Lee Kang helps him to study in order to be eligible for it, and you can truly feel how much he wants to help Jooheon change his life.
At first Lee Kang is kind of standoffish, but he is drawn to Jooheon, and then, when he ends up in his RUT due to being an alpha, they really get close in every sense you could imagine - the novel really gives specific details as to this pivotal moment with them. Lee Kang already shows obvious signs of jealousy and a desire to get close to Jooheon which becomes even more crazy after they sleep together. Now I find this rather appealing because he wants to be everything to Jooheon who really has never had someone care so much and take care of him up until this point.
Jooheon starts coming over to Lee Kang's apartment after the RUT situation, and Kang feeds him and waits for him after work and just is so amazing to him. My shipper heart after reading the novel loves this part even more because neither have any idea is preggers, but Lee treats him like he's pregnant trying to fatten him up and enjoying him eating. It's just so sweet and endearing.
Then, we have the conflict which brings in Moochan again. Moochan implies to Lee Kang that while working at this club called "8" that Jooheon was a prostitute. Jooheon was just a waiter, but Moochan being in love with him secretly and wanting to keep him far away from his rival Lee Kang plants that thought into Lee Kang's mind and sadly heart. Lee Kang pushes it down again and again always drawing closer and closer to Jooheon.
Initially, Lee Kang even understands why perhaps Jooheon had to resort to this type of life being a prostitute, but he NEVER wants him to do it again - he has no idea Jooheon is only a waiter, and he refuses to bring up the prostitution issue which creates an absolute mess eventually. Neither will be straightforward with the other at times with what they are doing i.e. Lee Kang is constantly trying to protect Jooheon but his actions which NGL look a bit questionable but come from a good place, and Jooheon feels very upset that Lee Kang is so beholden to him and doesn't want to cause him more stress, so he continues to keep secrets.
Now during all of this, Lee Kang is also studying to be a doctor, so he has the added pressure of that because his sister is already far ahead of him in studies, and he is the alpha male of the family which is very powerful, total chaebol. He is going to classes, studying constantly (goes to school until 1:00 a.m. in the morning and then STUDIES at times with Jooheon AFTER or BEFORE classes) but also takes out time for Jooheon at first as an obligation and later because he's so drawn to him that he can't help himself. His class rank even goes down because he starts to lose focus of his studies and just can't stop thinking and being with Jooheon. If I'm not mistaken, it goes back up after the RUT though. lol
You will see Lee Kang conflicted due to his studies, so he will leave poor Jooheon to fend for himself but still keeping an eye on him - hacked into the CCTV to watch him at work (a cafe) I kid you not. Well, Moochan is always there when Jooheon has alone time, and he creeps in on him always messing with him. At one point, Lee Kang saves him from this which only adds to Moochan's obsession with poor Jooheon. Lee Kang BEGS him to stay away from Moochan.
Lee Kang then has an academic contest to study for which is he is against his sister if I'm not mistaken, so again, he has to concentrate on his studies, and during this time period, Jooheon's grandmother collapses. It just so happens that Moochan is there following around Jooheon during this point in time, and he tries to be there for him because again he is secretly in love with him. Moochan just was raised with violence, so he doesn't show it properly at all which is why Jooheon is scared and intimidated and really wants nothing to do with Moochan.
Moochan tries to take care of the expenses for the grandmother. That is when Lee Kang finds out and puts a stop to it. He is very desperate at this point to get rid of Moochan and push him out of Jooheon's life, but it's not easy to do when he is so busy himself. Moochan ends up paying for the grandmother's expenses in the hospital because Jooheon can't afford the cost, and the hospital won't cancel the payment. I think somehow Kang may cancel that cost and take over everything - even hires a caretaker for the grandmother.
Well, Moochan wants something in exchange for paying for the grandmother, and he basically sets up poor Jooheon and brings him to this place where a reunion of sorts is taking place. Now before all of this, Moochan gets beat up pretty severely and is upset, so in exchange for leaving Jooheon alone, Lee Kang agrees to go to one of these shady ass reunions because it shows a good faith between families (both families are very powerful). Little does Lee Kang know that behind his back Moochan is playing mind games with Jooheon.
Moochan tricks Jooheon into going to dinner, but he ends up buying him expensive clothing too, so this makes him look rather bad (think a kept man). Jooheon hates owing anyone anything, but he constantly has to take handouts because they are forced on him one by kindness with Lee Kang and the other by also asking to return the favor with Moochan.
Now this ends up being the reunion Lee Kang agreed to attend, and Moochan drags Jooheon here not to a dinner as promised. Moochan wants Jooheon to see Lee Kang surrounded by thirsty Omegas who want to be with him. Jooheon sees it, but he is not actually upset until he hears in the bathroom his sister (Hannah is nickname but Korean name is Jee Hu), and it sounds as though somehow Lee Kang brought her there which is a lie (honestly it doesn't seem as though Jooheon even buys that too much). Hannah is really out of it (later we find out her agency is into the whole prostitution ring, but Jee Hu was able to escape it due to Moochan's help - he did that for Jooheon because he pined away the entire time Jooheon was gone (see he's obsessed).
Jooheon tries to get his sister out of there, and in the middle of all of this, Lee Kang's sensory (smell) leads him to realize that Jooheon is in the club. He finds him with Hannah (has no idea that's the sister) who is half-naked trying to help her, but he thinks it's something to do with prostitution. At this point, Lee Kang always shows his emotion outwardly.
Lee Kang gets VERY, VERY upset and takes Jooheon back to the apartment, and Jooheon starts to have horrible stomach pains. They tussle a little bit over the whole "Hannah" situation and the fact Moochan was with Jooheon and brought him to this reunion place, and Lee Kang kisses him passionately stating that if he's going to sell himself to do with Lee Kang only. Then, Lee Kang after seeing Jooheon crying apologizes profusely and tries to kiss away the pain, but Lee Kang's images of this evening will not be forgotten.
Here is where it gets sticky. Lee Kang is living under the impression due to circumstances that Jooheon is a Beta (both think this BTW), hanging around with Moochan (who insinuated very strongly Jooheon is a prostitute) and caught him with Hannah who was half-naked on a sofa and later at the OB/GYN office as well as he is spying on him (he is quite the stalker at times but only to protect him most of it), and that's where the mistrust comes into play hardcore.
Later, Jooheon comes after finding out HE is pregnant because HE is an recessive OMEGA (NOT Beta) to tell Lee Kang (his Alpha) and is overjoyed hoping he can explain everything away. Well, he's petrified in the convo and just says pregnant and doesn't explain the rest of it. Lee Kang thinks it's HANNAH'S child NOT theirs (yes the sister which a bit sloppy on the author's part that he didn't figure out the sister is Hannah, but I digress). He thinks Jooheon impregnated Hannah. He tells him to abort the baby NOT realizing it's THEIR child.
There is NO WAY he would've told Jooheon to abort their child. Before they are split apart due to the studying, he is so attentive to Jooheon even admitting he has feelings and wants them to be exclusive and for Jooheon to stay away from Moochan (which Jooheon contemplates VERY hard telling Lee Kang that Moochan is stalking him) and some girl who has sent Jooheon a love letter and then tried to get close to Kang. That whole thing was strange, but this girl is relentless, and Kang basically flirts with her just keep her AWAY from Jooheon. He also treats him constantly to everything from food to clothing while being so adorably attentive. I mean this is a big part where I fell in love with them as a couple first in the comic and later the novel.
Now Jooheon THINKS that Lee Kang wants to ABORT THEIR child, so again, there's a lot of misunderstandings in this, but the chemistry is on fireeeeeee, and the way Lee Kang is crazy about Jooheon is amazing. Plus, I found Moochan intriguing at times (he's actually rather hot in the comic those bastards). I also think Moochan flips out because he knows how much Jooheon needs the money, and he gets paid well at that sleazy club.
Jooheon is pretty much devastated. Lee Kang is a mess. Then, the worst happens with the grandmother dying shortly thereafter. Lee Kang sets up an appointment for HANNAH (sister) to get an abortion, but Jooheon thinks it's for him. Oi, my heart hurts at how painful this all becomes for the parties involved.
Jooheon decides to go into hiding to have the child. Lee Kang has no idea the grandmother has passed, and after he finds out she is dead, his heart breaks for Jooheon even though he is STILL under the impression he got another woman pregnant, and he goes to look for him. Well, as you probably guessed, Jooheon is gone. We find out in the novel that Lee Kang keeps going back to see if Jooheon will show up because he's lost without him. :( He has no idea where Jooheon has gone, and then, he ends up getting really sick (he has been suffering from horrible migraines up until this point, but with Jooheon around he gets better which will be explained soon).
Fast forward seven years later, and their daughter is adorable and very intelligent. Jooheon has returned to Seoul and to his sister. They end up living together, and she opens up a cafe for him which he manages.
Also, during the seven years, Lee Kang is suffering from something called LINK which basically needs to find the person who he bonded (slept with) with first who is an OMEGA to make an inhibitor to save him. Well, that person is Jooheon who has gone into hiding to have their daughter, so Lee Kang is VERY sick, but his sister is able to create a formula in the meanwhile to keep him well at least for the time being. Still, he needs the person he first bonded with (slept with because Jooheon was his first too). This seems a very life or death situation.
During this some weirdo (meh) that works with Lee Kang starts buying food and COFFEE from the cafe. Lee Kang senses that Jooheon is close, and he is drawn to the cafe. BOTH start thinking of the other, and they get turned on for lack of a better way to phrase it thinking about each other. We saw it in the comic which was really the only 18+ scenes.
Lee Kang first meets his little girl not knowing that is their child. One of his horrible symptoms of his illness is terrible migraines and then convulsions (seizures). He ends up near the child, and she is worried about him and say she's going to get her dad (Jooheon). She leaves to do it, and then, when she returns with Jooheon, Lee Kang is nowhere to be seen. I think he went and took his inhibitor at this point which helps him feel better.
Fast forward to Lee Kang going to the cafe and basically losing his mind and jumps over the counter and somewhat attacks Jooheon NOT realizing the hell Jooheon has been through thinking the Jooheon is living a great life while he has been miserable. He is so emotionally distraught during this whole situation that he can't control himself. They had to pull him away from Jooheon who is basically still living under the assumption that Kang wanted them to get rid of their child (BTW she is a spitting image of her father).
Lee Kang now works as an intern in the same hospital with his sister, and she is trying to find the one whom Lee Kang bonded with, and lo and behold he appears again, and she is desperate to have him help make the inhibitor to save Kang. At first, Jooheon is very upset at Kang who is just saying outrageous, hurtful comments NOT knowing that Jooheon has their child BTW and that he's an Omega, so he tells them both to get lost. Plus, Kang STILL thinks Jooheon is a Beta.
The sister figures it all out, and she figures out that the child is THEIR child, and she reads poor Kang the riot act for making assumptions. lol She is our shipping savior, and BTW his family due to his illness, they don't care that he's with a guy at all or Jooheon, but they are thankful for Jooheon and adore the little girl. They just want him to be happy and healthy which what a pleasant surprise!
Then, we get to see a beautiful love story play out where Lee Kang is miserable thinking he made such a huge mistake, but he knows this is his soulmate and the love his life. He is so romantic in the way he slowly pursues Jooheon desperate to be a couple again but trying to be very careful about it at the same time. Jooheon can't help himself and slowly gives into Lee Kang. It's hilarious because he will say I hate you over and over, but you know he loves him.
They end up in a contract marriage (although it's just an announcement because they want to get the child's blessing before making it official) because Jee Hu is accused of being the child's mother (child out of wedlock, single mom slept with wealthy chaebol) when in truth it is has always been Jooheon, so in order to save her career, the lovesick Kang comes up with the idea of the marriage. Kang makes it all disappear with this marriage announcement, and if I'm not mistaken, he even starts an agency for the sister as well, who at one point is working under Moochan (I want them together, but that's a different story).
I wanted to clear up any false information about the comic, and I started to read more into this because I KNEW from the comic how desperately in love Kang seemed when it came to Jooheon, so things weren't adding up for me. Someone graciously gave me the novel link, and I went to investigate my theories. I wanted to clear up any misconceptions going forward because I think people will really enjoy this now because there are issues on all sides and just really a sad problem with communication between the parties, but they really love each other A LOT.
I really recommend it. The novel is a good read, and it really helps to explain the comic which I PRAY gets another season because it really does follow the novel well. You can read the novel at: https://archiveofourown.org/works/26123716/chapters/63548845#workskin. It is a bit tricky to navigate the novel NGL, but I figured it out after messing with it and looking at the user. You have to use Google to translate it from Spanish to English, but it works rather well (three years of Spanish did stay in my head luckily, so I knew some of the wording without the translation).
Also, there is supposed to be ANOTHER novel focusing in on Jooheon/Lee Kang's love story which probably follows their daughter and the rest of the characters I'm guessing, but I can't find it. :( If anyone finds it or a link to it, please let me know! This could be the final part too which is already translated which is where we get them coming back which was so good. I loved it because it had them acting as a family (such good parents), and Jooheon finally opening his heart to Lee Kang.

Wanting someone to change because you love him doesn't make you look inlove. You should love him no matter what. I don't like it when Kyungsoo keep telling Chowon that he should change or something. Changing yourself especially your habits is freaking hard okay? You can not change yourself for a couple of days or months especially when he is depressed before he met Kyungsoo, and he needs to frequently visits a psychologist and take meds.
Chowon changed himself for himself especially for him, yet Kyungsoo keeps telling him to change himself? Nevermind.
Anyway, I'm still looking forward to Dojun asking forgiveness on what he did to Chowon. Let's not forget how he treated him, not giving Chowon affection just because he's inlove to Heesoo (you don't need to be affectionate 'coz we know their wedding is just a political one. I mean, he married him coz guys in his age got married but he is not yet and he just marry him coz he thinks he needs to and that is what he think is right but he didn't even treated him as his husband and explain to him that Chowon shouldn't fall in love with him coz he love someone but what? He just left Chowon out of nowhere and forgot his responsibility as his husband to him) It's just making me uncomfortable how he can live happily without saying sorry to Chowon yet Chowon asked Heesoo and Hyesung forgiveness to freed himself from guilt and to be happy with Kyungsoo.

I’m so confused at this point. Someone please give me all the spoilers, detailed as you can. What is the person in the mirror and how it connects with the adopted son Seme? Why is the seme going after MC? What does MC have to do with the mirror and seme? Etc. Anyone can give me spoilers on top of spoilers.
Would appreciate it to enlighten my dumb brain. Thanks. (⌒▽⌒)

This is still my fave line of Dir. Kang: "Just because I haven't done it with a man, doesn't mean I haven't done it here, you know."
Preparation is the key and HE has always known it (≧∀≦)

I swear, this is the funniest good shit manga I have ever read really I even had to stop in the middle just to lmao. Their facial expressions were legitimate gold that's best part of this manhwa, just on point with circumstances and situations that they were in. I laughed like gazillion amount of time no joke (⌒▽⌒)
And plot is interesting and keeps me wondering what will happen next and those plot twists are shocking
Both of Siyeon and Taekyung are dominant type but Taekyung let Siyeon has his way coz he afraid Siyeon might leave him but anyhow he does what he likes behind Siyeon too lmaooooo. Everyone treats Taekyung as naughty spoiled baby but he's cutest Cinnamon Roll (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Taekyung really care of Siyeon so much as if he's Siyeon. Siyeon doesn't even need to wash dishes Taekyung did all for him. I love those kind of seme feed their uke as they want and be spoiled by them lol
Siyeon is badass smartass amazing uke I want to see more uke like him (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
