I don't know the exact reason but apparently Nux dies in every other parallel timeline/dimension and this is the only one where he stays alive. He meets the remaining Owens eventually, but there is no romantic interest or interactions?
Nux falls in love with his daughter in a non-romantic way and grows really attached to her and takes care of her, I think. And that's kinda how the story ends.
No guarantees that that's accurate, but that's everything I remember from the comment.

I think the blank speech bubble was meant to be "I love you" or something similar to that. It's kind of a common trope for characters to say it and then not be heard after really tense moments like that. Idk about the rest tho lol
