I read the raw's a while ago and saved my opinion.
Lemme just say the Male lead and that bitch didn't fuck she slept with someone else, then played it off as being with him.
That bitch would have baby trapped him with another man's baby, had he had the wealth to his name he acquired now. 100% would've gotten married and she wouldn't stop cheating on him since thats literally what she did in her own relationship. And perhaps the female lead would've been with the other guy or found someone better.
However, he's a bitch that girl was very clearly tryna ruin his relationship. Would leave his girl crying, and he would go and have drink and eat with her. ALONE.
He's a bitch and the smut don't soften it, he's one of the worst.
I feel like the we were really meant to be convinced to have sympathy for him and equalise what he went through with the female lead, then come to the conclusion of, since they went through these problems, they can overcome anything.
But in reality this is some bullshit.
The way he wanted to have a baby with the female lead as a way to essentially tie her to him, but kept wording it in a way of "Have my baby & Raise it." Like wth that was so triggering.
He essentially held her back in life from moving forward because of his absurd selfishness, which he knows. He is one of the worst men and he's lucky that her life was in shambles and that she got pregnant, cause damn she deserves better.
Like imagine being the child and hearing your father and mothers backstory. The dislike i would have towards him & pity and anger toward the mother for choosing a bum.

And lemme just tell you, the artist deciding the change. Mariannes ending was a HUGE disrespect and disservice to the author. She wasn’t some Girl boss at all for what she did to the Female lead. She was a real life murderer and skinwalker. To do that to the one person who cared about you, and to basically get let off scot free because of the artists alleged love towards the character is crazy work. & I wont lie to you some of y’all gave her characterisation a bit tooooo much hype its one thing to say shes a good villain, but most people were upping her character to tear down the female lead on some complete bullshit, Just because of y’all ‘villainess look’ obsession, and now look at where we are.

Marianne literally gets burned at the stake, cause she is a literal witch in front of the whole town. The brother does die, but just before he dies he doesn't give her the satisfaction of a hug or any affection he tells her that what she received was fake affection from all of them and brutally wrecks her with words, cause mind you she was completely unapologetic, & was obsessed with receiving love especially from the older brother cause he loved the female lead the most.
