Why are there so many people like YAOI or you know guyxguy? Dont answer me with try reading one. because trust me I tried and its not for me. but im still curious why. so thank you for those who will answer.

we are actually few if you put together all the people in the world reading east asian manga/webtoon. bl is just a niche market. you probably think there's so many because you are in mangago but thats not the case.

I like the stories most of the time ^^ It's not my favorite genre tho (I like seinen and shounen better).
Usually the story is less cheesy that in a shoujo, the atmosphere is lighter than in a josei, there's more plot than in a hentai or a yuri, and there's more romance than in shounen and seinen. It just happens that they're both dudes - I actually don't give a shit about what's in their pants lol
Well, I first started reading yaoi last July. Back then I didn't join any manga community like this so I hardly found any hetero romance with good plots. Yaoi & shounen ai provided great deal of good stories back then. I was addicted till this January. But I came to know about a lot of good manga with other genres here. So went back reading josei, shoujo again. I love reading good romance so don't care if it's yaoi or hetero.

It has some interesing storylines and characters. I read other genres too, not just yaoi.

that was my first reaction..... until I get a little too deep with junjou romantica manga and sex pistol manga.
yaoi is the genre which I look for because im looking for all kinds of plot, besides the plot with shoujo genre.
