The writer has the mindset of <things just happen sometimes>. Because someone had ask who started the rumor at Jooin campus and their reply was "rumors just start, this like this just happen" so like there's definitely things they don't address when for a story they have too. It just really random sometimes but at least most aren't a big deal
I know this is based on a novel. Does anyone know what ending the 2nd "couple" got?
I got curious because of the comments so I went to buy chapter 99. Jooin doesn't even say he miss yahwi, he implies he has some regrets on things but things are fine now. He thinks about both his relationships with Cain and Yahwi and the decisions he made. In Yahwi scene he remembers Jooin, I don't know if he misses him, he doesn't say, he probably does but all he talks about is how thankful he is to Jooin for guiding him into a better life as Jooin was the light he needed to start anew. I still think all three will eventually meet again in one way or another.
I would like to add that Jooin thought of his past and the relationships, I believe after half a year or so, judging by his friends words, then after that it's was like 2-3yrs timeskip as he now graduated.

The manhwa doesn’t need to clearly state that they missed each other. It’s obvious with the way they act that they do indeed miss each other. (It’s called show don’t tell).

I said it's possible for yahwi but it was more about appreciation from my perspective. But yes I do understand what you meant.
Obviously I can’t control what other people say but if they used my comment to reply to yours, then it would probably indicate that they agree with me.
However, they could’ve said it in a nicer way but again I can’t control what they say or don’t say.
Also I used a term to prove my point : “show don’t tell” (it means that jooin doesn’t need to say “oh I miss yahwi” to actually miss yahwi. Since you read the chapter, you would see that he drew a cat on the bus’s window. That’s show don’t tell.)

I see where this is going. I definitely see what Jooin is trying say. Jooin wants Cain to be himself, his own person in the present, not in the past and if they're gonna love let it be based on the present, not soley based on the past, so things can be equal between if they ever meet again. I agree with some, its best if Jooin concluded with both ML's and have a clear mind to see what he will do next. I'm sure others won't understand but I like how this is going even though it's not in favor at the moment.

I think they're trying to show him the way he was with yahwi before in S2, where he didn't let things slide and called him out. making jooin look somewhat nonchalant in a way but it just doesn't work here.

It is odd because he developed a 'take no shit' attitude 90% of the story only to have him drop that and everything he said/stood by. You can tell they still wanted give that attitude but it just doesn't work when he went back to the one he was rejecting since chapter 38 and 39....
