This story is giving me mixed signals. I think all the members are both at fault in here because they did something they selfishly desires. The mom describes as an obsession and wrath, the father was greedy and also selfish, the son got both personality of his mom and dad. Greedy, obsession and selfish. The only reason he have this is because he was neglected of course his action was never an excuse of what he did to his father.
I don't wanna make an assumptions but the father only loves his son's because he was rather obligated too we saw it on the story. He was aiming for the fame and money, if he were to choose between his son and dreams of course he would choose his dreams. That's the result of why his son did this to him, if he only give him enough love it would proven that the child was nothing like his mother.
The mother gave her love to the dad rather in a bad way, she isolated him and forcing him to have all the responsible for the child when it supposed to be equal. She don't want a husband but rather a slave in her kingdom where she could brainwash them but the father don't want that, that's why he went to have an affair to seek for freedom to be in the top for once. I really cannot say that the mother loved the father I could only it was a desire, like a toy you were obsessed with. The father too he did not ever love the woman rather he was gaslighted by it to be obligated to love the mother. It was not love, it was all an on obligation a tiring obligation.

Eternal Convenant is really interesting story at first I thought it's just a boring fantasy bl or so I thought after reading where the flashback begins. It's really interesting especially the back story and Brian who is Ian now, no matter where I turn or make the story upside down the similarities between Brian and Ian are the same is just that Ian just became a neglected child questioning his purpose and that's when Lukorian take advantage of it. Unlike Brian who is very positive and cheerful guy who act first before thinking it though that's why Jack love him for that. I know for a fact that in some ways Brian and Ian have somewhat different but there still the same as one.
Though you guys said that the 50+ chapter was really unnecessary flashback story, but I think it's more necessary because we come to discover the truthful past between this 3 people and we've come to know where it really begins and we come to discover the another personality of Ian in the past. I'm far more interested in the past than future of this three people tbh, but i know for a fact that s3 will be more interesting.
For me in the story Jack truly loved Ian and Brian the same, Jack was only waiting for Ian to regain his memories on his own because he doesn't want to pressure Ian. Brian promised Jack to wait for him and that's what he did he waited for Brian to regain his memories back on his own so he won't feel overwhelmed about the tension between his twins and their relationship.
