This ain’t miscommunication at all, it’s just pure ignorance on the ML’s part. The FL has tried multiple times to communicate or convey her thoughts and emotions to the ML but was continually brushed off or down played. Ofc this would send a message to her saying that it’s worthless trying to reach a consensus with the said ML.

Like yeah you know what’s going down which is influencing what you want the characters to approach things, but the characters don’t know this shit and is left in the dark so like can you zip it?
Hopefully you guys could understand and sympathize with his character. His goal has been established ever since childhood, and he was willing to achieve it through his expense. For the people questioning why he’s doing this, I suggest learning more about his character :) (The situation also breaks my heart ;-; but it makes sense to me)
