I don't like the sword saint/instructor's attitude this chapter, but I assume she never stepped in and stopped mc is because she wanted the grand commander to be able to say no and fight back herself instead of being passive. I really wanted MC to be able to resist the sword saint's snake aura thing but I guess he's just too weak atm.
I really hope that's the case. And I'm sure Ronan will learn greatly from the sword saint (I'll at least give her the benefit of the doubt that she did that bc she also have the right and responsibility as it's her own class).
I agree that he's just too weak (for now) compared to the professors of the academy. Looking forward for his improvements while staying at the academy sksksks
I'm disgusted they had the audacity to do something as low as filling her coffin with trash even after everything they've done to her. I guess if the tradition of the Northland is to fill their coffins with something the deceased liked/cared about, it's fitting since she cared about her husband and he's trash.
I like both the previous art style and the current one. Both are nice but I think the current one fits better as it feels slightly more natural. Though I'm glad it's not a drastic shift in art style like with a lot of manhwas that get a new artist/studio, and is something more subtle that still feels a bit similar to the old art style.
The translations for the recent chapter are overall decent because you can at least understand what is going on, but what's the with weird and cringe lingo that doesn't fit at all like "dude", "baby", "crib", "ya know", "yo", "rad", "wicked", etc. This feels like those memes of what a boomer thinks the "hip youngsters" say lmao.
I completely understand why the reviewers would shit on mc's ending since they followed the novel up until it's end and supported the protagonist but the protag being evil and the world being destroyed twist came out of nowhere. But I think there's potential where it could be pretty interesting since he could make a sequel book where after the demon king destroyed the world, the villain who failed to kill the protagonist was able to go back to the past (so basically like what we are reading where instead of mc transmigrating into the villain, the villain will go back into the past and become even stronger to defeat the protagonist). The villain's backstory could be explained in the extras of the first book where it explains why he wanted to kill the protagonist.
