I like how despite all of his squad members are probably like 20x stronger than mc, they are pretty interested/care about him so they take the time to teach him their skills, properly listen to him (since he's the squad leader), and protects him if needed when they are out in battle together. I hope nothing bad will ever happen to his squad because I really like all of them so far.

If their world is a game world, then most likely the naive and kind version of the protagonist hasn't been possessed yet (probably because the game hasn't actually started yet). I have a feeling the person playing as the protagonist will be able to "start a new game/possess" the protagonist whenever the game's plot starts. So probably mc will have to find a way to stop the possession before that happens or kill the protagonist in the future?
Really good story so far and the art is amazing. I like how the og ml became interested in mc instead of the novel heroine or game heroine lmao. As for the female characters I don't really care about the game heroine so far, the novel heroine is ok, but I really like the villainess. Because the story is interesting enough I'll prob go and read the novel.

I can't tell if the couple of people in the comments can't read or just stopped when they read that the original scanlation group is dropping this manga... they said that unfortunately they are dropping this manga because it's low priority compared to the other mangas they are currently translating. BUT the translator who worked on chapter 6 will continue translating it with their own scanlation group so nothing will really change for us readers.
Wow I'm tolerant to a lot of things I read but this manhwa makes my blood pressure go up with these annoying trash characters. Apparently in the novel they discover mc is the real daughter at chapter 37 according to a spoiler in novelupdates. So I expect the manhwa to reveal it in about 10 to 20 more chapters.
