I guess in fandom culture its considered rude

I don't mind them, until they start being rude to the other members. If you like one member, then like that one member and don't mention the others, especially if you're going to be rude.

It’s not because he’s a solo stan but because he doesn’t care about the others, this happens often (In rl) and All members work and worked hard to be in the group but then there’s solo stans that only know the name of one member or ignore the othersヽ(`Д´)ﾉ it’s sad

Still don’t understand how it’s sad or why a member would care. They have their own stans anyways and they can ignore those ppl

I don’t think the other members were sad it was probably like a “wtf?” Moment. Like ofc he has his right to be a solo stan but that fact that he went to a group event then openly ignored all the other members was rude and disrespectful. Like the least he could have done was offer a greeting but he didn’t even do that. He just stood off into space ignoring him. Like it was just rude.

Honestly kpop idols often fake their happiness, they always must look happy and ready to greet the fans, if they ignore their fans the society will criticize them if the camera caught them, many fans also bring camera in fan meeting, the fans can take a picture of pink hair, and if he ignore the chef who's right in front of him, people will criticize him after the photo is spread on internet, so pink hair must at least smile, that's why it's so rude for the chef to completely ignore him especially when pink hair obviously chattered a lot but still getting ignored, in this comic that pink hair doesn't get annoyed and attracted to the chef instead, but in real life ignoring an idol in their own fan meeting like that is really rude, it's not easy to smile and being cheerful in front of so many fans like that, at least be polite and appreciate their hardwork for managing their cheerful image

I'm sorry but do you know how kpop idols are and how the korean society and the fans judge them? If you know about them then yes you can call it different opinions, but if you don't know about it at all then it's not about opinions, it's you who lack information about it

Sorry i don't know how to express it, i hope i don't sound harsh or something, i mean it's okay to not believe or understand there's such a seriousness in liking an idol, it's actually just a matter of culture in kpop fandom anyway

The issue is when solo stans are rude or disrespectful to the other members. Or downgrade their hardwork it took for them to even debut. That's my issue with most solo stans. If you're going to stan on member, stan the one member and don't mention the others, especially if you're going to be hella rude.

I was in a kpop fandom in the past (now not anymore), other kpop fans judged me for liking several kpop groups, they think i'm being a traitor for not stanning only one group because the idol from one of my fandoms ever stated that they're sad whenever seeing their fans switched fandom, so their fans turns judgemental like that toward 'traitors', this is not about a solo stan but it's a similar example i guess? You don't have to understand it, it just happens
