idk why they made it like that, but the novel made it more with sense. it also had jansi's pov and what's the reason he started to wear his gloves.
reason: Jansi had a deep trauma after he invoked his powers on his exclusive servant and put her in a coma. Since that day, he always wore his gloves and avoided contact with people. Because of his trauma surrounding lack of control, Jansi was suffering from anorexia, unable to swallow food when his powers were not controlled as he wanted.
and the scene in novel on why he is in the garden that time was because of the family dinner they have. since it's the lunar night, he can't control his powers well, resulting of him not able to eat well. he excuse himself saying he needs to wash his hands. lili used also the same excuse and followed him to that garden where she first saw jansi having a hard time to control his powers.
i also felt robbed at they changed on how jansi recognized lili. it's not because of her running away like how it portrayed in manhwa. in the novel, jansi realized it because of how lili forgot her lamp beside him like how lili also left her lamp on the first day she saw him in the garden. ik it's simple and not that totally needed, but that small realization will make the emotion more rightful in that scene.
