im tired of this fuckass slowburn and all the random ass side quests going on like why did the story of becky's maid and the eden headmaster have more romantic development than the actual main couple? when are we gonna get the big reveal!!!

i seen past interviews of the author saying that he's not super fond of writing spy x family and he actually finds it difficult to write the story cuz he didnt think that it was gonna be that popular so he didnt really plan the story all that well hence why he takes a lot of breaks in between and the story feels so disjunct at times

Though some authors avoid romance because they can't write it, he clearly can or has someone on his team that can as proven by the side plot romance. Add some Mr. And Mrs. Smith and our main couple is ready to be served. I would say he could not do it at all but he's set up Yor so he can't back out now. We're really waiting for Lloyd to get there.

Mr and Mrs Smith is a movie where a married couple are secret agents on opposing sides. Like Lloyd and Yor, they got married as a cover and lie about their profession (though their cover is performed whereas the Smiths say they are doing a certain job but don't actually have a set up in case someone comes to see them "at work.")
They have no children and eventually, they find out who the other actually is and start a shootout in their multi-million dollar mansion until they come to a standstill and truce, despite their orders to kill each other. It's been a while but after that, I think they either take down their organizations down together or run away to live an entirely different life (my money is on the former.)
So with Lloyd and Yor, we're waiting to see how their situation will go. Anya makes a new wrinkle in the situation as well as Yor's apparent crush on Lloyd (on the surface, we don't see Mr or Mrs Smith actually liking each other beyond acting for their cover until after the truce.) Honestly, I hope the reveal happens when their groups are fighting and as they realize this, they stop immediately to discuss what happens to Anya depending on if one of them dies before they can continue, which would be very funny if other agents were around and stopped to see whatever the heck they're going on about.

i think that our MC is the swordsman from the folktale (maybe in the past life) bc the swordsman ended up betraying the snake for the price of riches and in ch. 2 you could see that MC is known as this professional hunter(?) that will do anything if hes awarded with what he wants (riches)
its insane how sungkyung's mind is slowly descending into madness, like hes formicating and being filled to the brim with hallucinations.. he even sees insects on his skin and cheong-rim's only response to that is "i ate it all" just so he could shut up about it..
i think in the end, he might even end up killing cheong-rim if his deliriousness keeps going on..i dont think this'll get a good ending
