So I have read some comments on novelupdates and many was disgusted by tsar for raping lee won after shooting and rping lee won but I feel like they we're too focus on that part and not taking into account what it was like on tsar's perspective ( I'M NOT ROMANTICIZING RAPE ,OR SHOOTING,KIDNAPPING, OR ANY TYPE OF TOXICITY IN REAL LIFE )
But here's my thoughts on this matter
Tsar was raise with his life always on the line and was raise like a beast
He started killing people at an age when I am still playing hide and seek and learning things normally
He was not raise in a peaceful way it was very violent and of course most of our personalities and attitude and outlook on things is develop by the way we grow up
And yeah tsar survive but he lost his Innocence ,he has no purity and innocence left actually, since it was taken away from him
And so when lee won came , tsar treated him as something new and interesting in his life that is starting to get boring so he wants to have it and he became crazy and obsessed on lee won
to The point that he was about to be willing to look past that his obsession was the child of his enemy who kept sending assassins his way since he was a freaking child
but then he thought lee won was abandoning him added by his fcking cousin evilness tsar was blinded and all he could think was " no he can't leave me alone I won't let him"
he could've seriously handled it better
because lee won was literally innocent here lee won was just like " you continue fight your own thing here just leave me out of it I'm gonna go back to my peaceful country and wait you finish".
But our little emperor tsar just went and shoot him and rpe him I hate that part it broke my heart but during this time tsar's mentality must've been like "if he wants to leave me and abandon me I'd rather he died by me breaking him to make sure he won't even think about leaving me "
Then lee won forgave tsar right?! It must've been because he thought like " oh I never knew I love him this much already and I can't really blame him he has always been like this it's a part of his nature" in a way this kind of mentality is mess up it's like that syndrome? I forgot that the victim falls for the perpetrator syndrome anyways many was piss by that saying no don't forgive him so easily
( And lee won sympathize in tsar's life especially his childhood feeling pity can be dangerous sometimes seriously like have you heard of 'the farmer and the snake' story?)
You know for stories like this I try to look and understand all the characters mentality to try to decipher why they did that
Especially in types of characters like tsar who clearly has a villain origin story
it's so long of an explanation I'm pretty no one will read but it's just my opinion just you know look at others perspective especially in stories like this since the author must've made it that way for a reason you know it adds color to the canvas something like that

Yeah, I get what you mean; Tsar was just raised WRONG. which is why he dealt with the things that happened the way he did, and I've said this before and I'm saying it again: just because there's a reason for his behavior doesn't mean it's excused.
of course, it helps us understand him more, and given the fact that at the time he believed Lee Won was betraying him (after learning that Lee Won would be Lomonosov's successor and all), which only added fuel to the fire. However, I do agree that Caesar's childhood played a big role in the way he turned out and his overall personality, but keep in mind, what Caesar did is a literal crime: shooting, kidnapping, and raping someone, and trying to justify it is absurd. And as to why Lee Won easily forgave Caesar, I believe it's because he genuinely does love Tsar.
Anyway, my point is what Caesar did was obviously wrong but considering his past, it's to be expected, but that doesn't mean it's justified they both should've just tried talking it through instead of violence or leaving the country, I also think they should've opened up to each other more too, the communication is just so lacking.

What I meant is that yes what tsar did has no justification and I don't intend to justify it as well what I really want the others to understand is that they,like don't like judge quickly that tsar is a total bastard disgusting human without any like bases
Because I mean yes tsar is bad man but I don't want them to think just the present tsar but also the past tsar like you know make him a whole person using our imagination and not just take him as him on the current portrayal of him ....

Yeah I get what ur tryna say, tsar wasn't born bad, it was just the way he was raised, like when looking into his character you should also consider where he's coming from and how he was treated growing up, not just how he is now, it's pretty sad tbh
Yes, I agree. I said close to the same thing down further in the comments. Lee is the emotional maturity/stability of the relationship; it will not work when he doesn't willingly participate. He was raised normally and can see beyond his own upbringing to understand why Cesar did what he did. It doesn't make it any less wrong. But forgiveness is the choice of the victim; Lee accepted and forgave Cesar so anyone else's opinion doesn't matter.
The comment further down was talking about a spoiler so I will just hypothesize based on what we already know in the story. The moment Cesar asked for marriage, I knew Lee wasn't going to say yes. To him, marriage is a meaningless concept because his mother suffered and died still remembering her husband fondly. All he saw was his mother dying with only him by her side. He seems to have forgiven his father for this due to his background and how their relationship is now.
So when it comes to Cesar, he would be alright with their current relationship and maybe living together but not marriage. And when he tells this to him, Cesar might take this the wrong way, as if it is a rejection of him again. He wasn't raised with the capacity to understand the feelings of others and he could easily go off the rails again. Lee might not be able to explain at all depending on how he asks again/wedding planning comes up.
