Wait the last Christmas chapter came out around Christmas last year. Is time in the manga flowing at the same time as real life?? What year in middle school are they supposed to be in and when would that make the time jump?? Anybody else notice this or is it just coincidence? Or am I just confused...

I feel like the author missed a plot opportunity with the lycanthrope conflict. It’s also getting kind of heavy with the life expectancy differences, and Yibin’s new unwavering devotion seems rather sudden....
