Zhenya definitely develops romantic feelings and Taekjoo will too but it takes a while to get to that point. Nameless star, the second novel which I've also read is much more romantic and they do love eachother a lot. Codename Anastasia is very good but it's definitely more of a psychological thing than a romantic one. There isn't any manipulation though, it's more like zhenya likes taekjoo a lot and so takes him back to his house and assaults him. You've been warned!

I really like their dynamic, like how when Gozu is talking about how horrible the demon king is to make Kiriki believe what Eve said about being the demon king was a lie, eve isn't offended at all and he doesn't think for a second Gozu means anything he says. He's just upset he's made Gozu so worried. And I love chapters like this where Kiriki goes "he shouldn't die he's kind" and eve says "okay? He isn't Gozu though". I love when they're selfish about eachother!!!

I really like their character designs and their personalities but their relationship makes no sense!! The author literally skipped over any part of their relationship developing to deep dive into plot turning points incredibly impatiently.. when I read the promo to this before it came out I was really excited but it's really disappointed me
