i don't even follow kPOP because of how little regard it has for most of the cultures it "borrows" from. But somehow even I heard about this scandal. There's a reddit response that eloquently summarizes the whole issue and why for the most part it is "cultural appropriation". And also the constant need to police whether people should or should not ...... reply
