I just wish I could read a BL now a days without some element of sexual violence. When you have Harry Styles play a gay cop and the bullshit out of his mouth is he’s shocked mlm love and sexual experiences can even be portrayed as soft and loving this is the reason why those who complain so much about the constant rape in BL see how it affects how people perceive sex and romance when they have only the learned and internalize imagery from popular media depictions. I know this is a dark plot and our ML is emotionally/mentally unwell, but what purpose those raping the MC actually serve?
