Stories are generally labeled with genres such as shounen ai, yaoi, shoujo, josei, etc and it either has smut or it doesn’t. Obviously some of these categories usually do not have smut, such as shounen ai, but you get the point. That's it. No one really calls stories on here "hentai" lol. Not that its a bad thing but its pretty rare imo. Instead we tend to call them by the genres that's on the website such as the ones i listed. So that's why OP said it's a josei instead of saying it's hentai. Idk if this makes sense lolol
