the closure was nice but it did make me feel fcking sad lmao. but love how the author ended things on a light note with natsume’s humor: “my mommy always told me to not play with strangers” and the cute “pain, pain, go away” line :’) he and yamabuki are finally free and alive in a sense. all’s well that ends well :’)
that was a wild ride from start to finish and a really good ending, i’m satisfied ;;; i was afraid things would end up sadly where mc would be pained with guilt for the rest of his life and natsume stuck in a cycle of regeneration and death and yanabiki permanently gone but i’m glad to see this ending.
yamabiki and natsume actually solve the problems with the monsters and are both alive and dead at the same time and within each other. mc comes into terms and acceptance and the world is “well” again. i do wish for the three of them to have made it out together but that’s too cheesy and flat of an ending lol. i’m also surprised kazu made it this far LOL
some of yall can keep defending kang and the author can try to redeem his character by giving him a sad backstory but you can’t never win me lmao.
“boohoo, i’m kang. i have a traumatic past and my parents are dead. i’m a shitty person and blackmailed, rape, and screwed up some guy’s life. buts it’s ok, i have a sad backstory :D” nahhh get outta here. sick of this card and character
who cares what you think?
