This is the definition of a strong FML. She’s not suddenly flipping from a loyal servant to a rebellious person. She knows when to take charge and when to be a punching bag so that others don’t suspect her.
For this story to continue, the ML has to be a useless weakling who doesn’t take any actions whenever his wife has issues and neither does he protect her from all the troublesome women in their lives. His character has to be an one dimensional fool who constantly hopes for forgiveness but doesn’t do anything productive to help her
This is quite a realistic depiction of an imbalance relationship. Even down to MC getting permission to go out with her only friend and the way ML has to push himself to give some leeways because he is so used to isolating her. This entire dynamic makes me feel a little sick because some people actually live their lives like this
