First please drop it if all you care about is Ian. Like what another poster said, this is a story about reincarnation and politics. If that is not your cup of tea, gladly leave this series. We hear your comments about Ian. You literally spam them every week. But really think about it, what is the point of an established reincarnation genre, if you aren't going to have stories of past lives. The idea of reincarnation is already lengthy. If you aren't enjoying the ride, then NEWSFLASH, YOU DON'T HAVE TO F***ING BE HERE. Go find another BL. No amount of complaining from you isn't going to make him come back any faster. Let the author cook.

Now this is for people who are going to continue the series, let's talk plot. So Chapter 82 really gave us an insight on the thoughts of Lorkan/Brixton. I mean his thoughts are so twisted that you can even see the exact moment Mother Dragon was like, "Wow, you really are dangerous. You are definitely not inheriting my world creation power." My prediction is that Lorkan/Brixton, eventually kills Brian after Sol and Brian enter into a covenant to A.) test and try to comprehend Sol's resolve as to why Sol thinks its interesting/necessary for dragons to establish relationships with human beings so they don't get bored, B.) Create that "obedient bird in a cage, knowing he can fly away" scenario to try and tame an already "claimed" bird and/or maybe try to "free" that bird from a covenant, and C.) he found out how interesting Brian was and chose to cut his life short because he wants a "blank slate" to find out how interesting he can be in his next life. Basically he wants to steal s*** that ain't his. He enjoys the chase. He is very antisocial and devoid of complex emotion. AKA he is off in the mind and psycho-obsessive.

I felt the urge to reread it again for a second time. I stopped at Chapter 24 page 63 https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/dawn_of_the_dragon/uu/br_chapter-156684/pg-63/ because what the tiger spirit said caught my eye. He said Hyo-un might be sick due "to being in close proximity to someone of that family." We all assumed Taehyuk, but after careful rereading its not him that is making Hyo-un sick, but Taehyuk's older brother suddenly returning to Korea after it was established in the first chapter he was in Hong Kong. So to make sure, I went back again to find out exactly when he got sick, which was in Chapter 10 page 67 https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/dawn_of_the_dragon/uu/br_chapter-140080/pg-67/ And what else did we find in this chapter? The Big Brother is poisoning the Yoo bloodline and memories. I think that's why no one remembers anything. The big brother in his past life/lives burned all documentation of Hyo-un and his mate, most likely. The thing I want to know is, how much does he know now and if he remembers anything.

I don't know if this was found out already, I pretty sure it was. But in the case that it wasn't, what do you guys think?

I love the story so far. I hope you guys have a great break. Most authors do like 3 months to year +. I was shocked on the possible return date. If it ends up that you need more time I understand. Chapter 42 pg 21. I would like to believe that is Dyne with Rail. Dyne’s hair is shorter, but I think that it was an error. But yeah, I wasn’t expecting Dyne and Rail action so soon either! Sign me up!!

The backstory is meant to give insight on HOW Sol and Brian became lovers. From the rough life Brian had before Sol came, to Sol and Brian’s rough start, to learning to trust and communicate better, to trust, to love, to wanting a brighter and better future, to the creation of their own Nation. This should sound familiar because this is the same story Ian and Sol are dealing with currently. They are just putting the steps out of order. We are meant to LEARN about the personalities and development of Sol and Brian in the past that mirror/compare to the present with Sol and Ian. The political drama is just fluff to set the setting and mood to keep us busy so it’s not a one dimensional backstory. Why should you care about Brian? Because Brian and Ian share a connection that started with Brian. Without Sol being here with Brian and infusing him with magic so he can reincarnate with his memories of his past life carrying over to his future lives, we probably wouldn’t have Ian who is Brian’s reincarnation. They are different people with the same personality in different time periods going through similar hardships. The goal of the story is about the journey of falling in love again after a long time apart and testing if the feelings still remain the same after so long. I also don’t get why people hate Brian so much and put Ian on a pedestal. THEY ARE ONE AND THE SAME. THEY ARE CONNECTED. Ian is currently misunderstanding the situation and Sol forgot how to communicate like a lover because it’s been a long time. Brian is just Brian. Deceased. Period. Point blank. Now please just try and enjoy the story. Or skip it, we don’t care! Just stop posting the same stupid “bring back the present story” comments! There is a reason to the madness. Seriously, the author can’t even setup the first stage leading into the tragedy later without people complaining.

I don’t relate to other people’s hatred for this backstory. I support whatever direction the author chooses to take; and well, if we lose a lot of readers on that journey, then it’s that reader’s loss. We all need to slow down in life, develop some patience and understanding, and just enjoy the moment. I’m disappointed that majority of the readers are giving the author this hate for their story and characters. Stop reading the story if you are THAT bored. No, we will not tell you when the flashback ends because then you’ll scratch your head when there is a detail in the current time that was covered in the past time AND THEN we would have to fill you in because of your laziness and/or impatience? Absolutely not. YOU do better.
