no one accuses anyone of random stuff without reason or without evidence especially if it's a group who doesn't even know you.
it's simply you either don't agree with, you don't want/know to hear the evidence, or you don't understand it.
the reason could be something has nothing to do with you but something you say reminds them of something else ......
