Misty mountain is constantly a target for terrestrial and celestial threats. I think the tree is trying to protect weak creatures from facing a demise they otherwise might not. Think about when the main weaker cast (Baldy, Golden Monkey, Boar, previously White Tiger) ends up putting their lives on the line. One, their deaths would devastate the tree and the other creatures (mostly the weaker creatures that have been around since the beginning). Two, everyone or at least the tree or Big sis ends up clamoring to save them. They don't always do that, but they do if they really feel like the weaker one will die. That puts the other creatures at risk because they're rushing into a battlefield that could be using the threat of killing a weaker creature to capture/take advantage of the emotions of the stronger creatures. I feel like him saying the weak don't belong really is just a call to action for the weaker creatures to get stronger and an attempt to protect the creatures that are too weak to survive the battles of misty mountains.

its fine its just that it was such an unhinged thing to say TT also boring characters can be quite fun, not every character needs to be jaw-dropping pretty with instant allure, his plain and simple blunt nature along with his cold eyes makes him interesting and imo much hotter than the overly embellished characters they design specifically to be the bottom, obviously the author is going to develop their relationships but this story is mainly plot and character development of our mc, if you read through some other comments youll see that sex probably wont happen for a few years, this is an extremely slow burn which i personally really enjoy, enjoy the small flashback snippets we got and enjoy the story for itself, not the going to happen years later porn. if you truly just want porn browse the bl tag and youll find hundreds if not thousands

if im correct(?) i believe he gets yellow/golden eyes much later, and yeah i get that your wording just made it seem like you think hes ugly for not being overly attractive TT , im not quite sure if the novel is even finished, i know (i think at least i cant remember) that its in the 700 range of chapters where he goes into heat and they have sex, or it was normal sex again i cant remember lmao, i think its fun they made him the typical black hair mc, it makes sense since hes a literal commoner and im guessing black hair with black/grey eyes is extremely common, if you want to read the novel or find spoilers look on novel updates spoilers and search for turning, and people here in the comments gave the novel link :))
