the lack of consent and no one listening to chun's feelings is so uncomfortable for me. books should not normalise pedophilia and attempted rape. society is a construct and certain aspects of a society include written literature that influences members about certain opinions and moral values. true, author does not owe anyone anything to write a morally correct story, but when author writes a story like this knowing it projects a good/neutral light on topics like this, i question what was going on in their head then. no hate on the author themselves, i think this story is old, they might have matured. i just dont like this aspect of the story.
