Does it ever say what happened to Kubota?? I know he was an insert character created by the artist (I think), but like, he just disappears at one point and never gets mentioned again from what I’ve seen. Have I just missed something or did he just get dropped from the story??

That’s the guy with the blue hair who had a crush on MinJoon right? If I had to guess, author probably realized that readers found the conflict annoying and just sent him to the shadow realm, never to be seen or heard from again. You’re right though, that subplot did vanish into thin air. Especially since the character of Kubota’s lover was introduced and it seemed like they would be a mainstay. But this author also likes to resolve conflict in a very short amount of time. Kidnapping drama, attack drama, living somewhere else drama only lasted like 1-2 chapters, when in most other stories it would take like 20 for the main characters to wrap it up. It wouldn’t surprise me if it had nothing to do with reader perception, and the author just didn’t want third wheel Kubota to get in the way and overstay his welcome. Which I love since manhwas become hard to read when every problem in the couple’s way takes 3 months to resolve!

I gotta know, does the artist switch up their style/coloring every now and then, or is there a small team doing the art for this work? The alternating style done for the eyes makes me curious (⊙…⊙ )

yeah i was looking back between seasons when this season dropped n i felt whiplash from the art n it feels like the art went from shoujo to shounen in style lolol buuuuut it was a slow process so i think their style just gradually changes like most authors. we just kinda noticing it more since there was a break i guess

He’s a little rough, definitely, but I don’t think the FL does things without thinking. She literally had to deal with constant neglect and being overlooked growing up by everybody but her sister. The same sister that FL took what she thought would be too much of a burden on her because she loves and appreciates her that much, and it’s definitely a life she has to adjust to before she feels confident in her position as her own person away from the only position in life she knew: her sister’s protector and shadow. So no, I’m not surprised that she feels somewhat unsettled when she sees her sister and husband getting along, because that part of her that feels insecure next to her sister is still a part of her because she hasn’t had the time to work through it.
She’s not dumb, she’s literally scarred in non-visible ways that she hasn’t been able to address in the short time she’s been separated from her family.
I fucking knew he wasn’t the Tajima-kun from when they were kids. Coincidences like this can happen irl, though, so I’m not surprised she met them under two different circumstances if they lived around the same area since kindergarten
