I read ahead a bit in the novel at novelupdates and really like the hero -- but I'm also liking the elf boy she meets, too. Both boys are so adorable.... The novel translation at Novel Updates is still only a little ahead of this version, but it is still wonderful. I am enjoying this story!

I love this story, don't get me wrong, but just how stupid is this female lead??? First, she claims she loves the ML from the very beginning, but then can't understand the ML's jealousy when he first saw the interactions between FL and Lorenzo? There's a limit to stupidity, there HAS to be - this is so frustrating. But I can't stop reading cause the story is really good beside's the FL's stupidity.
Ibe is pretty dense but she never said she loves the ML. She only felt bad for him and treats him like a younger brother.
I get that but she's from modern times, not those archaic times. Why has she suddenly fallen into following the caste system she never grew up with? Further, why is it she couldn't read their language? This story's so messed up, I think I'm going to have to be like some others here and wait til it's done and read the final chapter and skip all this waffling BS.
First, I agree with you. Ibe is pretty stupid in that she's basically has zero awareness. I was just correcting you by saying she's not in love with the male lead.
However, I don't think you understand the premise of this story.
For you question as to why she's in a caste system she didn't grow up in and why she can't read the language: she's literally from another world, not just the modern world. She got sucked into a novel she was reading all of a sudden.
But yeah, this story isn't great in terms of characters having logic or whatever.
Ah... Hm. OK - It's just weird that an other-worlder would know more about the caste system and noble/commoner rules than a born-and-bred Duke in that world. Also, I guess I got used to Isekai stories where the character enters another world and has "cheats" like item boxes, understands the language, and tends to be smarter than the "locals". OK - but I still think I'm going to have to wait until the story is complete before I read again because the frustration just keeps reviving every time I reread with new releases. :)
I think I'm going to have to stop reading this if it doesn't get better. She's pissing me the fuck off. She KNOWS the story ends with Ale's death but she's thinking he's going to find "happiness" with the person who'll be the cause of his death? WTF? The author clearly has some fucking bolts loose in his/her head. I need to find a different story before this one has me bitch-slapping a passing stranger out of pure frustration.
Just nasty no matter which way you look at it. The girl's a brainless twit who doesn't know how to fight back (obviously) and the male lead is just a rapist asshole.
JUST when I thought there would be a truly romantic moment between them, "take your dick out" --- hahahaha, yeah, that's subtle (not)...
What a loser --- if you know that you like a man who's married, you KNOW not to get your hopes up --- SUCH a STUPID girl. UGH - I understand, truly - liked a married man before - but I was never stupid enough to ACT like I wanted him to pay attention to me. UGH.
