When everyone said to skip chapter 15, I expect it to be extremely sad and depressing. But honestly, when you think about it a bit differently, it was also a happy ending. Now they can be together forever in afterlife (heaven etc) The phone calls were an experience which made them let go of their regrets and find out the truth.
But they both wouldnt be in the after life cuz he was able to change the past and he didnt get killed. The author was the one to get killed in the end.
I hate Aki. He's being such a freak because of his love troubles with his roommate. They like each other but they like music more? What kind of weird break up reason is that? Also if he says that the relationship is over, why are you still living with him, having sex with him and rebelling by sleeping around just because your too desperate to let go? (he was his first friend, right?) And now you have done something terrible to a precious friend! Why? Even though you know he loves you, you are taking advantage of him!!!

Yup. I really can't understand Aki and his roomate's story at all. Please explain it! All I know is that Aki (who didn't get along with people) made his first true friend and fell in love (the violinist guy) but he somehow pities him? They end up together happily. But then violinist decides to break up? (Because he loves music more than his lover?) But Aki can't let go so he's sleeping around with women and doing bad stuff. But they still sleep together once in a while and live together. I am totally lost now. The only thing I know for sure is that he tried to do a terrible thing to Haru and I am disgusted by him. This is inexcusable and Aki doesn't deserve Haru's love!
Base on my understanding about what I read previously, Aki loves the violinist (i forgot his name) but he is also the reason why he gave up playing violin w/c he really loves since he was a genius he felt like there was no need to pursue aki's dream 'cause he knows he will never get there.
Despite hating the violinist genius talent he still love him. And the violinist knows how Aki feels so they end up breaking up even though they truly love each other. No one could let each other go and hence end up hurting each other.
They lived together since aki don't have any place to stay, and his ex understands that, they still sleep together even though they aren't in a relationship 'cause they still have the spark, and Aki thought that they'll get back together but then his ex brought another guy and that breaks aki's heart all over again. So, he became twisted, sleeping and fooling around other girls but still can't let go his ex, specially since they live under the same roof.
Because of his heart break, he poured the pain unto other (which is entirely wrong). And I do agree that about him being terrible 'cause he used Haru. Which made me and others (maybe) hurt and sympathetic towards him. And also wish his own happiness, since he so deserved it.
And no hard feelings, I just thought, in my opinion too, that both side of the story should be known before judging the other for being an a**hole!
Oh. I understand now. I now want Aki and violinist guy to end up together again. We can find someone else to ship with Haru (I don't want Haru to end up with Aki)
Yeah! And who ever that person might be, I just wish they'll genuinely like/love each, so as to not hurt the other.
