There's a plot, a huge one but due to poor execution, I don't know what the f*** is happening. Other than the rushed confessions, everything is else just seems to be there. Floating, existing. It's just a meh at this point. 60 chapters I endured, just for the confession scene to be so meh. I have so much questions, would have wrote them all down but I'm giving the same energy the author gave. Which is shit so yeah. I'm out!
Okay time for a review. Story has a great plot, only issue is it's being executed poorly. I don't know if it's the author or the translation crew but someone's fucking up somewhere.
The art is great, the characters have no depth, at least not yet but I'll wait on them. There's lot of potential. My man fell in love with an unconscious lady.... Hard pill to swallow but hopefully the plot twist we have already deduced happens so we can get that happily ever after.

And before you start defending Jeffery and dear old granddaddy, it's important to note how she didn't even exist to them until she became useful. Makes me pissed. The only reason she survived is cuz she was "different". A normal baby would just freaking stay laying down and crying for hrs..

I mean it’s not that she didn’t exist to Jeffrey it’s likely that he didn’t even know she existed or that she was being abused. We know Jeffrey was a complete shut in and og aerin died young from an “fall”, remember she wasn’t born to abuse she was with her father for what seems like a while before he died (going off the grandfathers memories of when they met and her not looking too much younger than currently). Her grandfather was definitely at fault since he’s the head and knew she existed but Jeffrey did/does not care about the family affairs enough to know all this (probably cause of whatever happened to his wife and child)

Sure the grandfather is the one with the most faults here. But it doesn't erased the fact that everybody in that damn house FAILED the fl. Jeffrey is also not innocent from this, if the fl was the OGchild, she would've died the same way even if she had interacted with him ONES. And I'm sure the OGchild would've gotten scared to ever interact with him.. she's literally an ordinary child.
So yeah. Our point still stands, it's literally cuz the fl is a genius.
Jeffreys first interaction with the current aerin was not him finding out about her abuse it was her looking at his stuff so no we can’t say how he would have acted towards the neglect.
And first chill out lmao I’m not excusing abuse I’m saying unlike most isekai stories the fl lead wasn’t in the house the whole time being abused. I’m saying that to show the short amount of time she was actually alive in that house (just to show how unlikely it was to have had Jeffrey know about any of this)

Maybe it's because she ruined his plans and now he's just a regular frustrated loser who will go down in history as the worst villain ever. Defeated by a ten year, that's surely be great last words.
