All child MC Manhwas I read, there's gotta two or more characters including the male lead "courting" (it's grooming actually) the child MC. Like she's a freaking child. Do we wait on age of consent? Is that what we have come to??? Come on, there's no way we're romantising this BS. I'm sick of it at this point. All these stories have the same basic bullshit, mangago should put a tag so I don't waste my time.
No literally. Can't even read my normal father-daughter stories anymore, in fear they'll turn out like Usagi drop or that one manhwa where she married her guard (which has known her since she was 7 and he 18 )
Reason number 3 why I avoid reading isekai stories
Lol they should produce a tag, it's getting irritating. This manhwa I was recently reading, she's 5yrs old and has more chemistry with the ancient magic tower master than I do with my own fiancé ╥﹏╥.... That's not normal. They ruined all the child MC troupes.
I like isekai stories, some of them are fire. Like side characters deserve love too. That doesn't have this BS in it. It's just the child MC troupe that's being corrupted with romance, if it can even be called that.
If y'all thought men in real life are antagonising, you haven't met manhwa Men. Green flags are a rarity. I tell you, I've yet to come across a manhwa hunk who starts off a green flag and ends as a green flag. It's only a handful of Manhwas where there's an actual decent men.... But come on. Can we not normalise the red flag traits because of looks? At this point I don't care if you're looking like zeus, I will punch the mf daylight out of you if you mistreat me. And the women, manhwa women.... Y'all be disappointing me... You've got healthy fingers and hands, use it like god intended. They've my BP spiking up like hell...

And before you start defending Jeffery and dear old granddaddy, it's important to note how she didn't even exist to them until she became useful. Like damn, the OGbaby in that story likely died of starvation and that fking gave me shivers down my spine.. and now the mc is "forgiving" them(the ppl who neglected the OGbaby??? Who tf is sheeee... Makes me pissed. The only reason she survived is cuz she was "different". A normal baby would just freaking stay laying down and crying for hrs..
At the end, it's just money money and lazy writing.

I mean it’s not that she didn’t exist to Jeffrey it’s likely that he didn’t even know she existed or that she was being abused. We know Jeffrey was a complete shut in and og aerin died young from an “fall”, remember she wasn’t born to abuse she was with her father for what seems like a while before he died (going off the grandfathers memories of when they met and her not looking too much younger than currently). Her grandfather was definitely at fault since he’s the head and knew she existed but Jeffrey did/does not care about the family affairs enough to know all this (probably cause of whatever happened to his wife and child)
And if she did exist in his little bubble, would he care? We literally know he's a shut in, and as u said in ur last statement, he prolly does not care about family affairs. If he knows whatever happened to the fl, he would not bat an eye like let's be fr
His first interaction with the fl already proves that he's too busy with his research to care enough about some kid. And what r u implying in this "remember she wasn’t born to abuse she was with her father for what seems like a while before he died"??? R u saying that she didn't live a full blown abused life? Bruh, no matter how long/short, ABUSE IS STILL ABUSE. Neglect is literally abuse.
Again, just by their first interaction, If the fl didn't insist on talking to Jeffrey about his mistakes he would forgotten a "pesky" child who touched his things. Did u even see him literally LOCK in to his research right away after scolding the fl?
Sure the grandfather is the one with the most faults here. But it doesn't erased the fact that everybody in that damn house FAILED the fl. Jeffrey is also not innocent from this, if the fl was the OGchild, she would've died the same way even if she had interacted with him ONES. And I'm sure the OGchild would've gotten scared to ever interact with him.. she's literally an ordinary child.
So yeah. Our point still stands, it's literally cuz the fl is a genius.
