THIS is what I’ve been waiting for. finally someone has directly told Mikey that he doesn’t have to sacrifice his own happiness for the sake of everyone else. poor baby never felt like he could ask for help bc everything’s always been on his shoulders. idc what anyone says, but takemichi & mikey’s relationship is the best part of this mf manga. Mikey inspires takemichi, while takemichi gives Mikey the emotional support he so desperately needs.

I’m not even gonna lie... I’m deadass bawling my eyes out rn. Like, just seeing how much pain Mikey went through and seeing how self sacrificial he is makes me rly fucking sad. Not to mention, after pushing away the one person who was willing to help him, he had to reminisce abt time where everything was happier so he could convince himself he was okay to finally die. I’m so glad takemichi survived to catch him, and hopefully this shows Mikey that he can be vulnerable and he can ask for somebody to help him; he can be a little selfish.
