This is just trash and the artstyle isn't even enough to compensate for this crappy plot
It's like a booktok trope compilation with typical the batshit insane characters (who's usually drawn hot for fanservice or whatever) tormenting the mc and uke who might seem though on the outside but is just a giant push-over. This is basically just a rapefest clearly made by an artist with a weird fetish putting all possible "dark themes" on their work and just calling it a day without consideration to making it actually good and separatable from an average rape porn comic. I
hate it when artist try to draw dark themes but it's ruined by the obviously romanticized view to it with all that detailed smut with booktext manwha body types and facial features, why can't they actually make it terrifying for once?? Like focus on the emotions the characters are feeling instead of the nipple gloss

It feels like every aspect is too light for the heaviness the plot holds, mc is too forgiving and I feel like even really kind people irl would feel more emotions that mc did, like holy shit? You saw your ONLY family, your CLOSEST friend "die", get gang raped and the perpetrator even talked about fucking the corpse???? The reuinion w him was legitimately so fucking disappointing, like after all that, you only did that?
Even the part where he cuts himself, it's such a good topic to dwell in when it comes to depression, regret and self blaming, but it was just kinda ignored? Like one panel abt him doing it and a portion of like 2 chapters talking about it briefly. I get that they did acknowledge it but it would've def been better if it was tackled a LOT more...
And the plot just kinda got everywhere? Like it was supposed to be some typa revenge whtvr, i also get that sometimes theres some plot twist that completely changes the premise, but the way they dissipated that was just not it(⊙…⊙ )
Ah and ofcourse the typical justification of "evil" characters bc of their "sad" background, the pace was so bad abt it, kinda appeared out of nowhere AND the character this time actually committed HEINOUS crimes, not js someone cursing people out or beating a few ppl, it's straight up non excusable crimes
Is it just me or some of the symbolism here are ridiculously shallow, idk maybe I've just seen too much that these started to look like a joke to me scrumptious art tho
