I love this story SO MUCH! The art is just *shef’s kiss*, the humor is off the charts, the plot is interesting and full of twists, but for me the characters really take the cake. The chemistry between all of them is so good, even side characters all have their own distinct personalities. It’s so easy to get attached to them, and while I may not know all their names yet since I binge read the series in one day, but I just love them all, from puppy knight, the librarian, his hollynes’ caretaker(?), green hair knight, Anshleigh, the church lady that fed the Mc with green soup, holly grandfather, swindling shooting stand dude...

I’m really REALLY salty with Asahi. Mc deserves better. This dude doesn’t tell him anything, keeps ditching him all the time, once for an entire month even, with no contact AND has the AUDACITY to tell him to wait? TO WAIT for HIM? Like, f*ck you dude, how selfish can you get? And then HE gets concerned over Mirai hiding stuff, HE!!! At this point I just want the Mc to break up with him and find someone better, or Asahi to realize how much of an insufferable d*ick he’s being and crawl back to him BEGGING him to take him back.
I don’t get why he can’t just quit his new job, WHY!? I’d understand a little if he was a trained veteran who got called back because of lack of manpower or something, but this job is NEW, he specifically got trained for it (as mentioned in the manga), so WHY? And don’t give me that “i’M dOinG tHis To pROteCt yOu” sh*t cuz he still almost died b*tch, he almost DIED(If not for his blood). Also him choosing to side with his colleagues PISSED me off. Black hair b*tchy dude was rude as f*ck. Like I get the whole “wE’re sOooOOo sEcREtivE” part, but everyone, EVERYONE already knows about you, even the bloody aliens! No need to be a lil b*tch about it.
Sorry for going off like this, lol. But it did annoy me a bit.
