Buddy held the love of his life in his arms after sejin shot himself and then ido said he quickly followed.meaning he shot himself too. Mans is traumatized. Hes probably reliving that every day and so worried about messing up and having it all happen again that he obsessively checks on the gun. He said he threw out the bullets he's probably just terrified of it all happening again. Some of ya'll need to chill lol

I get this side character isnt everyone cup of tea but it is an important arc because kang's jealously led him to realize he would not just be able to be mature if Yiyoung broke up with him. He was deliciously rabid in the car and the second he turns down this guy so he can finally move on past Kang, I think the issues about how they see their futures and Kang's insecurity will finally (hopefully) be resolved
Very angsty and tragic. Amazing story. My only complaint is that the majority of the story is about him getting r*ped. There were many chapters, especially when it starts getting into his backstory, that i had to scroll through because it was just scene after scene of him being assaulted in explicit detail. I understand thats the point of the plot that he was resilient in the face of pure brutality and despair but I dont think THAT many explicit scenes of it were necessary. This story reminded me of Pearl Boy in many ways, but even in that story, the two main characters had a significant amount of time together, both intimate and just existing with one another. It was nice to have a decent amount of chapters at the end of this story showing them being happy and moving on but in proportion to 50+ chapters of him just getting r*ped, the 6 chapters of them getting their lives together and being happy and the 3 or so scenes of them being intimate and having consenual sex just felt so unsatisfactory.
Ohh I have this bookmarked way back, didn’t know it will become this traumatic…
Btw, is Pearl Boy recommended? I have that one as well, I thought it was a happy manhwa…
If you dont mind or like super traumatic stories then both of these are fantastic reads. Revenge plot, character development, intense love, all good. But both are heavily based on breaking the mc down through s*x trafficking and the plot is about their resistance and revenge. This story I think has significantly more r*pe than Pearl Boy, but both stories have a ton. If you like heavy trauma and redemption/revenge plots you'd enjoy them but lot of s*xual assault and just really sad and heavy themes.
Pearl Boy has significantly more side stories and "after" of them being happy and recovering and they also were together throughout the story. Less of that in marrying man story, more pining and longing.
