Honestly I see where he's coming from. Showing your partner you love them by telling them, calling them sweet things, complimenting them, doing stuff for them, and so on so forth but having the other party telling you to stop calling him x, shutting up and "just keep thrusting", and pull away from kisses etc. must be rough.
