The only thing that I feel that she might’ve made a connection is, I think she’s giving fan service to the people who like the dark skin second male lead from back to school who was essentially the bad guy. people found him attractive and wanted the MC to forgive him, which author was unwilling to do so I think she drew this male lead as a dark complexion one on purpose, but that’s just my take.
