The post was posted in 2024, and it was the artists' last post. Its safe to say that the artist hasn't dropped the series but it's just on an indefinite hiatus and will hopefully be back soon.

Hello, this is Tteokbap, the person in charge of the illustrations for *Speak of the Devil*.
Nearly a year has passed since the hiatus notice for *Speak of the Devil* was posted, and only now am I finally sharing an update on my personal author account. Before I talk about my current situation, I first want to sincerely thank the readers who have been waiting for *Speak of the Devil* and apologize for the long delay.
A year ago, due to my health issues, the hiatus notice was posted. After that, I spent six months receiving hospital treatment and recovering. Even after that, health problems and the challenges of balancing my studies caused further disruptions, delaying my return to the series. I deeply apologize for not being able to neatly wrap up the serialization at the time.
Currently, I am doing my best to bring *Speak of the Devil* to a proper conclusion. I will return with a better work, one that comes from a healthy body and mind.

Plot was quite interesting and well paced for 4 chps.
Altho i kinda wish for an author's note to explain everything, but also its better this way cuz it's kind of an open ending? or well just not much of an explained ending but it's obvious.
I concluded that the demon seems to be visible to only those who have lost their loved ones and feel empty? The demon gives them an illusion of comfort. Also when they zoom out and show panels where the demon isn't visible, it shows that the readers can't see the demon because they aren't in the same vulnerable state as the mc. The artist shows that Michael can see him but not us, which makes it clear.
There's just one plot hole that I didn't understand, and its chp 3 pg 21 and chp 3 pg 27. What is that meat that the demon is putting inside him??? He talks about descendants? I thought there'll be mpreg cuz of those two panels
