Oscar became this gentle human being when he and Eduardo were having sex, but when he and Lily had sex... It was as if Oscar didn't look at Lily and lived in his own world. Even Oscar telling Lily to get straight to sex their first night showed us that Oscar wasn't looking forward to having a romantic night, but to get horny (maybe Oscar was pent up from not having sex with Eduardo in who-knows-how-long...) （￣へ￣）

So, damn.... The difference when Oscar has sex with Eduardo and when Oscar talks with Lily (we don't even need to see them in bed together anymore) shows us a major difference in how Oscar feels about the two. When we saw Lily and Oscar have sex at first, I thought there was a chance for them to become a couple! But damn, that look on Oscar's face when Lily first sees Eduardo... I am convinced that Oscar views Lily as a sex replacement and that hurt LOL!!

I think Edo and Melvin had the potential to develop as a couple... They respected each other as photographers and seemed comfortable!! (We saw Edo wake up in Melvin's bed - they shared a bed!!) I think Melvin and Hugo didn't break up on clean terms, which was where that unresolved vibe came from... Although, maybe it was better that Hugo came back before Edo and Melvin developed further.

I see M's Study as lifechanging for Edo, but it wasn't intended to be a love story for him... Edo was drawn to Hugo because Melvin was attracted to Hugo, yet Edo knew he had to leave to discover his own photography style, without further being influenced by Hugo's photography lens. Part of me feels like Melvin has given up on pursuing an independent and healthy romantic relationship too.

Phantom on the other hand... It hurts because Lily wants a serious relationship, while Oscar wants a stable relationship with Eduardo. Oscar and Lily want the same type of relationship, but Oscar just hasn't fallen in love with Lily. :/ If Eduardo breaks up with Oscar or dies and Oscar dates Lily for that reason alone, I wouldn't want that either LOL. I want Oscar to fall in love with Lily on his own, for who Lily is. Am I asking for too much?(￣∇￣")

But anyway...we'll see how the story goes. I hope Phantom won't be like Preference and Prejudice, since I didn't feel that Taeho and Eisen fell in love with each other. (At most, Taeho admired Eisen as a director and was interested in his life views, while Eisen found Taeho cute(〜￣△￣)〜)

I feel the same, i did find him annoying at times,
but i can't say i wouldn't do the same thing if i was in his shoes.

This was Junyoung's first time falling in love, so he didn’t have prior experience to rely on either. Despite how terrible it seems to be dating a married man your best friend is also dating (in Junyoung's mind), I don't think he ever regretted falling in love with Sihoon, which didn’t make Junyoung feel any better. Junyoung was so conflicted because he knew it was wrong to be with Sihoon, but he just couldn't stop his feelings. :/ If Sihoon really was the married three-timer Junyoung thought he was, I don't know what kind of clean breakup they'd have...

Some readers claim Junyoung should have been explicit, but I don't think he saw a reason to be because he thought the misunderstanding was real! Before Junyoung and Sihoon were about to have sex for the first time in chapter 20, Junyoung was hesitant about confronting Sihoon because he was afraid Sihoon would get tired of him. :((

So, to Junyoung...the only options were to stay with Sihoon and feel guilty and scared, or for them break up. But when Sihoon sent Junyoung that text message, Junyoung was hurt because his emotional fear became reality: Sihoon had decided to leave him. I think Junyoung also wanted to leave Sihoon before Sihoon would hurt him by breaking up with him. But regardless of what Junyoung chose, he couldn’t help being heartbroken all because he fell in love…

If Mari's brother had really been married, and Junyoung had accepted that he leave his wife in order to be with Junyoung, Junyoung would still have been a much more decent third-party than Mari is, and as a result his relationship would've been stronger and had more chances of turning long-lasting than Mari's relationship with her bald lover.

I think Junyoung has more morals than Mari LOL. While Mari did not appear guilty at all for being with a married man, Junyoung just couldn't be at ease when he thought Sihoon was a married three-timer :/ Since Mari never requested her boyfriend to divorce his wife and leave his family (including his child(ren) I assume), she never expected a long-lasting relationship. Mari just wanted a relationship that made her feel loved, while Junyoung wanted honesty along with the genuine emotions Sihoon provided him. Junyoung wanted to be Sihoon's only partner, while Mari didn't care about that. So, we could say Junyoung wanted a serious committed relationship, while Mari was just looking for a fling.

Lol, I honestly have no idea what Mari was expecting from her own relationship... If she really was just looking for a fling, she could've chosen any other married dude out there, and not her brother's own friend colleague. That's why I doubt it. But with her low maturity level, it was surely doomed not to last, whether she wanted it or not...

When Mari exploded and blamed Sihoon, we see that her doctor boyfriend isn't her priority LOL. Mari didn't even feel the need to justify herself or beg her doctor boyfriend to come back to her. Maybe Mari wants attention like the wife said, but who's attention does Mari want? Probably Sihoon's. If Mari really didn't want ANYONE to find out that she's a third party, it makes much more sense to date someone Sihoon doesn't know... In fact, Mari seemed hurt that Sihoon was upset at the doctor on Junyoung's behalf, not hers. :/ So, in that sense, I think Mari was annoyed that the attention was placed on Junyoung when he spat out his confusion, instead of the attention being on her. Maybe Mari was lonely after their father passed away and Sihoon moved out. + their mother continues to talk about Sihoon like trying to arrange a blind date for him, even though he's not even at home anymore. Maybe the mother doesn't pay that much attention to Mari (did their mother even know Mari was dating??) either.

^ Considering how lonely Mari probably is...it makes sense for Mari to cherish her friendship with Junyoung that much more and be hurt that he betrayed her. Mari did say Junyoung is her first best friend and she admitted that she missed him a lot when they weren't talking for a while. Mari demonstrates a soft spot for Junyoung, no matter how many times she has gotten mad at him.

In the upcoming chapters it appears to show the photographer guy in a hotel room with someone else (presumably neither of the two that were the other M.C's in "M's study) so guess he has moved on, ha!

Yesss. I like Oscar a lot. I've been in that position where you're good at something but you ask yourself "and so what?". life is weird :/ we make our own meanings I guess. Oscar tried by sticking to Eduardo. Can't wait to see why they broke up. I am already sad thinking about it (bc I want everyone happy haha)

It's seems too that both characters don't have much stability in their living arrangements, constantly going back presumably to their home countries as well as traveling all over the place for work, so having the opportunity to build a solid relationship is unrealistic when they can only really get together when it involves being in the same country due to work and having the same hours free. Maybe I'm over thinking it and they really share some grand flat or something that hasn't been shown yet ha.

As someone who is lacking a purpose in life, it's not surprising if he isn't motivated to pursue a romantic relationship seriously right now. But!
