What breaks my heart is that sometimes, we think happiness is in our hands, but then it could slip away from us without us knowing... A world without Ryan is unimaginable for the characters: Sihan who has been treated like a son by the elder, Cecilia who has been friends with Ryan for centuries, Lucaon who views Ryan as a trustworthy guardian, and Christoph who was treated with tenderness by Ryan. I feel that living for as long as Ryan did, he's experienced so much in life that he feels ready to die after everyone is in a stable position.
I was saddened by Ryan's monologue of memories fading. I think that happens even more for royal bloods. Royal bloods may appear to live the ideal life because they don't have to worry about running out of time and they're physically stronger and have abilities servants don't. Yet, people don't consider that the older a royal blood is, the lonelier they probably are, including facing the death of loved ones (like Lucaon did with his parents) and ultimately, finding yourself all alone. You lose a purpose to life. If your memories fade, how significant is it to live forever?
I know with ordinary people/servants, memories could fade too, but we may have 'less' memories because of our shorter life years. I personally don't concern myself with that because I believe that we will always remember what is important to us. Even if we can't remember the exact words or chronology of events, we will always remember how we feel. Yet, when Ryan tried to recall going to Cecilia's house where he, Cecilia and Cecilia's mother were present to talk about their arranged marriage + Ryan and Beth's conversation at the end of chapter 61... Ryan seemed sad that he couldn't remember those details. :(( So, I get the feeling that Ryan is ready to pass away, but he just didn't have a reason to die earlier.
This may sound terrible, but in a way, there's this selfish part of me as a reader to hope for more problems (that will get resolved), so Ryan could stay with us longer. Ryan has been such an important and caring guardian, it would break my heart to see him die and then to see Lucaon and Sihan cry. :((
Meeting Ryan has changed Sihan's life forever. If it weren't for Ryan, Sihan wouldn't have become a royal blood and he may have died a long time ago. If not for Ryan's guidance, where would Sihan be today? And it's thanks to Ryan that Lucaon is still alive. Lucaon has already lost his parents and the servants who used to reside in his mansion, so if he loses Ryan, the only person he'll have left is Kyon... But Kyon is a human and will probably die sooner than Lucaon. :/
I'm just so sad. Ryan is only thinking of other people. Ryan believes that if he gets removed from Christoph's memories, then Christoph may have an opportunity to start a new life. Yet, I'm conflicted... I'm partially hoping that Cecilia doesn't do Ryan the favour of removing Christoph's memories, because Ryan symbolizes tenderness and care to Christoph that our young mixed-blood never felt before... Without Ryan, what would happen to Christoph?
There was so much tenderness when Ryan kissed Christoph on the forehead and Christoph blushed. I want more moments like these! I feel like Ryan and Christoph's time together has been short-lived somehow... It breaks my heart to imagine Christoph and Ryan drinking tea together, and Christoph probably thinks more moments like these can happen in the future… ┗( T﹏T )┛And when we saw Ryan kiss Beth on the forehead too... Ryan truly is a tender person. I think Beth loved Ryan and Ryan loved her. Now, I'm just wondering what happened to Beth... Did Beth die naturally, leaving Ryan as the only member of the Chronos family?
I'm surprised Cecilia and Ryan used to be engaged. Cecilia is the head of the Dominus family and is even a grandmother. I'm curious about who Cecilia married x)) Although it's lovely that Cecilia has a family, I hope Ryan doesn't die alone... Maybe Ryan has no plans to get married and have children, but I hope he at least has the people he loves with him if he dies. The way Ryan hugged Cecilia at the end of chapter 60 made me emotional; it was a solid and warm hug. After all, Ryan doesn't know if he'll receive an opportunity like that again... Ryan is grateful for Cecilia’s friendship throughout the years. ┗( T﹏T )┛
It's great that Kyon and Lucaon are happy. I love that cute moment when Kyon had his hand out to catch the petals following from the tree branches, and then Lucaon hugged him from behind. The two smiled and then leaned in for a kiss. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ And even though Lucaon's anger to Christoph was understandable, I love that Sihan protected Christoph. Like Ryan, I don't blame Christoph either; Christoph was controlled by Intron. I like that Karis is ready to comfort Sihan too, since he told our royal blood that he could say what's on his mind... Lucaon and Sihan having partners probably makes Ryan feel reassured in knowing they won't be alone if he dies. ┗( T﹏T )┛
I sincerely hope that there will be a cure found for Ryan.

Beth is the creator of Intron and the VS solution that killed Lucaon’s parents. Ryan if anything must feel a sense of responsibility and guilt towards Lucaon. We do not know why Beth is a turn coat towards her family. Maybe royal abuse?
Focus on saint like Ryan being so caring seems callous while ignoring all the zombie like humans that murder and terrorizie the population. What kind of society is this? How and why were the zombies created? Intron perhaps or just artistic license? These privileged Royals live in a airless lonely world and the schism between humans and royals as saint like protectors of society stretches my belief of their saintliness.
Yes Ryan just likes to include people and that means zombies. Zombies were once human.

Wow, I didn't receive a notification to your response. (⊙…⊙ ) But anyway, here I go: we just started to get our history on the VS solution. We don't know for sure if Beth was the ONLY person who started Intron and then found other people who hated royal bloods like she did. Or did someone approach Beth first to talk about creating an organization that would aim to kill royal bloods? If Beth created Intron, then where did Edwin come from? We don't know Edwin's background either. I can't say for sure what species Edwin is too... Edwin probably isn't a mixed-blood, seeing how Christoph was mistreated because our young blond boy is a mixed-blood. Or, maybe Edwin is a mixed-blood, but both his parents have a higher hierarchy than Christoph's? Is Edwin just a powerful or influential servant?
We don't know the origin of zeros, indeed. It may sound like I talked about Ryan as a saint, but I don't see him as a perfect angel. I acknowledged that in my next post too -> http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/3265535/ And in one of my responses there, I noted that although Ryan must feel guilty for not stopping the VS solution from advancing, he couldn't have known for sure what would happen in the far future... If Lucaon's great-grandparents were alive when the VS solution was being made, I don't think Ryan specifically envisioned that his friends' future descendants, Lucaon's parents, would die from the VS solution, and that Lucaon could have died too. Ryan also couldn't have predicted centuries ago, that he would love and want to protect Christoph, even though Christoph is the culprit to the Selvior family's tragedy. For now, it seems that centuries ago, Ryan chose to protect Beth, which is why he kept quiet about the VS solution. And because he chose to protect Beth, he allowed his engagement with Cecilia to end, even though that was the perfect opportunity to empower the Chronos family by allying with the Dominus family + to keep the Chronos name and family heritage alive. Even now, Ryan is unmarried without biological children.
I'm not convinced by your claim that "...Ryan just likes to include people and that means zombies. Zombies were once human." Where did you get the idea that Ryan likes to be inclusive of zeros? Does that mean you think Ryan likes zeros?
There are royal bloods who are trained as hunters, like Lucaon and Sihan, so yes, there are some royal bloods who try to maintain societal peace. There are also servants who can kill zeros, like Karis who was hired by Sihan because our servant is a qualified hunter. Are the common enemy zeros then, seeing as royal bloods and servants could kill these senseless creatures?

You only used five words to demonstrate what I've done. I’m sorry if I made you feel sadder. x( I had a flood of FEELS that I just needed to release. Sometimes, you don't recognize how significant a character is, until you realize their relationships with others; how much they care and what they've done... ┗( T﹏T )┛I want a cure for the VS solution to be found, so Ryan would be saved and no more royal bloods would be harmed in the future. This societal division between royal bloods and servants won't end if the VS solution continues to be a threat. Lucaon, for instance, already learned from his own experience and no longer trusts servants in general.

I'm sorry if I made you feel sadder. *hugs* Although, I'm grateful to know that there are readers like you who feel the same way I do, and we could talk with each other now and when future chapters arrive. :') If you feel that you want to talk more, you could comment on my next post too -> http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/3265535/ I hope we could stay strong together and continue reading Royal Servant until the end. <33

Sihoon did say earlier that he was already feeling negative. I think Sihoon struggles with being used to having control or being a respected authority figure that people listen to and trying to go with the flow or being easygoing. Sihoon did ask Junyoung in the past about just studying and not working, which our uke didn't listen to. We saw that in chapter 54, Sihoon suggested supporting an unemployed Junyoung, which he had to stop himself from thinking further about. Sihoon doesn't fully comprehend his growing love for Junyoung. I don't think Sihoon fully healed (although yay to moving on!) from his past relationship with Jiseok; Jiseok was very dependent, and Sihoon had to exit the relationship by enlisting in the army. :/ Sihoon doesn't want Junyoung to be like Jiseok of course, but he struggles with that balance of Junyoung standing his own ground and wanting Junyoung to listen occasionally. Sihoon did say that people respecting his opinions and decisions has happened his whole life, so he just doesn't know what to do with Junyoung.
Personally, I think there could be a difference if Junyoung initiated or showed more affection outside of the home. We saw in chapter 55 that Junyoung just woke up and asked where Sihoon was and to buy chicken. Daddy treats Baby well, but I'd like to see Baby dote on Daddy too. That way, I think that could help Daddy to get used to not having to do so much. I think this is a believable stance because as someone who is used to having everything (a family who waits for him, a high-paying job, a hot body and face... Being respected without having questions asked), being with Junyoung demonstrates that Daddy has a lot to learn too. I'd rather have him express his emotions, than keep his feelings to himself and cause (further) confusion.
Regarding Mari... I can't justify her telling Junyoung to go to a club, which is an inappropriate place to have a genuine conversation. Mari kissing Junyoung when she knows Junyoung and Sihoon are dating was disrespectful to our devoted couple. Mari telling Junyoung that she will steal Junyoung's next partner was rude too. I didn't like that Mari assumed Junyoung and Sihoon won't be together for long. :/ Junyoung was right for telling Mari off for dating married men LOL. We know it wasn't right of Junyoung to date the man he believed was Mari's boyfriend, but Mari spitting that out doesn't make her any better. :/ Both parties were wrong and I'm glad Junyoung apologized in-person. I understand Mari is still upset, but the location she told Junyoung to go to was inappropriate. If Mari still wants to be friends and Junyoung loves her enough to take her back as his friend, she's the one who needs to approach him. I think Junyoung had done enough to demonstrate how sorry he is.

The beginning was sad. :(( Haru still remembered Shigure and it was so sad when he woke up but Shigure was gone... Due to Haru's longing for Shigure, he gets dreams and I think that's why he has insomnia. I read MODS a while back, so I don't remember much about implications regarding Haru's past. Hopefully, Haru will move on while he interacts with Yukitaka. Yukitaka and Haru will probably become lovers, but I would be satisfied if Haru and Yukitaka just develop a strong bond. I'm also curious about Yukitaka causing trouble - does he do it intentionally to gain attention from his father?

I was annoyed from studying for a midterm and I was gifted with a new chapter update!! *____*
LOL!! Daddy was hard but Baby had to go to work. xDD Why do I find that so funny?? I was wondering why Junyoung left when I saw the raws!! And btw, I totally agree with Sihoon seducing Junyoung first - how could anyone resist Daddy? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ I like that Junyoung knew Sihoon went out of his way to see our uke at the convenient store and Sihoon acknowledged, "Why shouldn't I? When there's a cutie like you working there." FEELS!! Love how natural the kiss felt!! But too bad... Daddy got his hands in Junyoung's pants but that was stopped ;-------;
OMG, I love the passionate kissing on Sihoon's end in the car but Baby had to go to work. LOL, Junyoung was nice for giving in to Sihoon even though he was late for work. :P I found it so cute when Sihoon said, "Don't...go..." and he looked like life has been sucked out of him when Junyoung opened the car door to end their kiss. :P
I love that cocky Daddy 'yielded' to Junyoung when Junyoung said, "Don't come to pick me up after work. I'm gonna meet up with Mari." <33
Now, it's sweet that Daddy cares a lot for his family and he wants the best for Mari. At least Sihoon acknowledged that he has difficulty expressing his emotions. I see that Mari is upset about the different treatment between Junyoung and herself + their mother. :/ It's great that Sihoon and Mari talked on the phone now: good to know Mari and Seongjong broke up and at least Mari didn't turn off the phone.
Great to know that Junyoung and Mari will meet later and talk! I do appreciate Junyoung for making the first move to text Mari, even though she read it and didn't reply. I could understand the fear of calling Mari though... If Mari did pick up, she has the power to turn off the phone mid-conversation or they could fight on the phone. It's much better to meet in-person.(▰˘◡˘▰)
LOL, and I think Junyoung being scared of calling Mari but had the courage to 'steal' Mari's lover (well, the man Junyoung thought was Mari's lover) just shows how much Junyoung wanted (and still wants) Sihoon. :x I find Sihoon hilarious for being so cocky when he wondered what Junyoung liked about him. xDD "My face? My vibe?" How about "EVERYTHING"??? :p

I checked this page too many times and woo hoo!! We have an update!! :D
I want to start off with the beginning. OMG, CUPID SHOOT THAT ARROW INTO MY HEART. Sihoon was jealous because he wanted an affectionate name from Junyoung's lips!! XDD It's not that Junyoung is cold to Sihoon. I'D BE TOO SHY TOO IF MY LOVER WAS KIM SIHOON AND THERE I WAS, CALLING HIM "DARLING." LOL, Junyoung reminds me of a kitten with attitude: loves to be adored and can adore you in return, but all that affection doesn't just happen within a snap of two fingers. :PP Junyoung having sex with Sihoon and moments like in chapter 47 when Junyoung embraced Sihoon and confessed, "I like you. A lot. A lot..." and rained our hot Daddy with kisses are moments when our uke expresses love. <33 Junyoung’s just shy xDD And Junyoung did give Sihoon a kiss on the lips before our seme started driving, so that's something too :))
When I saw the raws, I was wondering what made Sihoon and Junyoung blush LOL. Love that Junyoung just melted at Sihoon saying they're lovers and our young boy was like, "Lovers? How could you say that? It's embarrassing." And damn, I love that Daddy had amusement from seeing Junyoung shy and our young boy even tried, "Darling" to Sihoon. xDD Yo, I think Junyoung would rather have kinky sex than call Sihoon "Sihoon hyung" or "Darling." :P HAHA, Sihoon was only thinking of "Sihoon hyung" but I love that he got "Darling" which was even better! :P THESE TWO WERE BLUSHING, HOW CUTE IS THAT??
Now, I LOVE that Junyoung bluntly asked, "Sihoon, are you mad?" LOVE THE COMMUNICATION, KEEP IT UP!! And I love that Junyoung and Sihoon talked it out. Love that the issue isn't about Junyoung's boss - Sihoon just wanted Junyoung to treat his hot lover with sweetness and charisma too.
I can see why Junyoung is nice to his boss though. Junyoung does dream of opening a restaurant, so he's grateful to his boss for teaching him so much. Junyoung's boss probably takes really good care of our uke. :))
Now....I'm sad that Mari interrupted Junyoung and Sihoon's FLUFF MOMENT!! Mari, COULDN'T YOU COME AT A BETTER TIME?#-.-) (LOL, but maybe it's funnier that Sihoon and Junyoung were so focused on affectionate name-calling that they didn't notice Mari? xDD) I think it's very immature of Mari to walk out on Sihoon and Junyoung like that... Besides delivering their mom's food, didn't Mari wait at Sihoon's apartment to talk with him? I like Sihoon's maturity for asking Mari to stay so they could talk, or they could talk if she agreed to him driving her home. Sihoon probably knew Mari would reject him, but good effort anyway.
Does love have a good influence on people?? I'm happy Sihoon came home to his mom and told her he quit his job. :)) Sihoon's mom seems very happy to have a family trip too. I love that Daddy's been spending time with Junyoung and now he's even planning to spend time with his mom and sister. It seems Sihoon has been focused on his work for so long, he's finally placing the time and commitment to his family. :)) And awe, it warmed my heart when Sihoon told his mother that he loves her food and "more is better" from her. <33
Sihoon's even letting his mom decide where to go on vacation too. OMG ┗( T﹏T )┛ There are too many reasons to love this man. <33 He is being a filial son, he is a patient older brother, and he is a doting lover. <33 DAMN, JUNYOUNG, WHAT DID YOU DO IN YOUR PAST LIFE TO HAVE THIS MAN IN YOUR LIFE??
+ I love Mom's "If it's enough to irritate my Sihoon, he really must have done something wrong." XDD Love that Mom is happy and has her son's back! Love that Sihoon asserted Seongjong (Mari’s ex-lover) needs to come to his senses LOL.
It seems Mari is making the first move to talk with Sihoon. Looking forward to their discussion next chapter! :))

I reread chapters 33 to 37. I'm so touched by Woojin's monologues. I originally read this story out of curiosity of its direction and the mystery behind Hwon's real identity (the beggar or Woojin's childhood friend/first love). I was so touched when Woojin realized he fell in love with Hwon because when he is with Hwon, he feels a peace he's never felt before. :') I remember being so scared that Hwon may in fact be the beggar who murdered Woojin's childhood friend. This story truly made me wonder if it's important to know your lover's past and identity... If their past and identity would destroy the relationship you have now, should you discover the truth or not? Is it better to live life wondering instead of searching for answers?
I'm happy that there was a sense of completeness to the ending. I'm grateful that in the end, Woojin was able to face his past and chose to find Hwon out of love. Even when Woojin's classmate said she thinks Hwon is creepy for being obsessed with Woojin (she's right ( ̄∇ ̄") ), I loved it when Woojin said, "Well, I can't do anything about it. I like him. I have no choice" (chapter 35). We could see Woojin's maturity as he learned to accept life and move forward. :)
I know it's unhealthy for lovers to have a co-dependent relationship like Woojin and Hwon's, but I find it so beautiful how accepting and patient they are of each other. There is unconditional love, even though Woojin and Hwon's history together is certainly not ideal. I'm happy for Hwon that he'll receive endless love from Woojin from now on, just like how Hwon is always giving so much love to Woojin. :))
This story has displayed to me that love could truly be about the feelings you have when you're with someone: how they treat you, the character traits you like about them, how safe you feel with them... How at HOME you feel when you're together. I think if Woojin and Hwon were to try to explain their relationship to anyone, people may not understand. I think love could truly be that complicated, yet that simple.

I was sleep-derived, and my class ended after 30 minutes. I'm so thankful I checked and there was an update. I was happily giggling to myself (alone, of course)!! XD
I was cringing when Junyoung tried to seduce Sihoon too. When Sihoon only watched, I loved it when Junyoung instantly got out of sexy mode and gave Sihoon a back hug while blushing, "I can't do this! Gah! That was so cringy..." I seriously wish we get an extra chapter where Sihoon does cook with only an apron on. (▰˘◡˘▰)
I lol-ed when Sihoon asked, "...What are you watching these days?" so calmly to being asked to wear only an apron. Has Daddy been asked this question before LOL??? Too bad Junyoung's "What? Are you insecure about your body?" was met with Sihoon's "You've seen my body enough. Did you really think that'd work? Nice try." xDD Oh Sihoon...we all want to see you naked with an apron on. Sihoon was practical about getting cold easily... But maybe the solution to that would be turning on a heater? (⌒▽⌒)
I also didn't quite understand the reference to the Sunshine Policy in relation to Junyoung and Sihoon's situation... Does anyone know and could explain it to me?? What did the translator's note mean that the Sunshine Policy reinforced the carrot instead of the stick??
It was the sweetest moment ever when Junyoung went underneath Sihoon's armpit, still hugging Daddy and was spoon-fed. <33 Junyoung found the perfect man who even cooks well. I'm envious! XD And when Sihoon licked the sauce off Junyoung's lip and they embraced for that passionate kiss! Junyoung even had his hand on Sihoon's butt ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ More feels from me when Junyoung and Sihoon maintained eye-contact after the kiss <3
THE CUDDLING-IN-BED MOMENT GAVE ME FEELS!! And Junyoung and Sihoon were wearing MATCHING pajamas!! OMG!! ヾ(☆▽☆) How much more lovey-dovey could these two get??
I LOVED it when Sihoon grabbed Junyoung and kissed him repeatedly and asked, "Can't you not go in today? Just hang out with me today. Huh? Huh?" Damn, this reminds me of chapter 22 after their first night together, Junyoung asked Sihoon the same question; to not go to work and Daddy actually cancelled work to be with Junyoung.
I LOVE it when Sihoon puts that pillow over his face!! Daddy must have been so shy. XDD When else would he ask someone to stay home instead of going to work? Seems Daddy got some of his youth back! And once again, Junyoung blushed :)) I love that it's these simple moments that could make our characters blush <33
It was thoughtful of Sihoon to offer, "I'll drive you." If that were me, I'd totally stay in bed. But damn, the honeymoon stage gives you such fluffy feelings OMG. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ Love Junyoung's good morning/have-a-good-day kiss. Junyoung's "I'll be back. Watch the house while I'm gone" was such a domestic line!! Junyoung views Sihoon's apartment as his home. :)) And it was SO CUTE when Daddy BLUSHED!! It's these little moments that hit you with all the feels; Daddy's got a lover to make him happy, and he totally deserves it.
I like that Sihoon picks Junyoung up from work. :)) Maybe the paperwork he's looking at are all job-related?? It's nice that Junyoung isn't afraid of 'showing off' his boyfriend too. Junyoung's clearly so happy at work, and I feel happy about that too. Earlier in the story, Junyoung seemed so lifeless to go to school. Hope Junyoung has fun with his future restaurant too! It was caring of Sihoon to ask, "Your boss...does he treat you well?" But hmm ~ I'm not sure how to interpret Sihoon's facial expression at the end x))

Our focus is on Christoph. I don't see the story with a black or white lens. I acknowledge it was wrong of Christoph to poison Lucaon and cause our main couple to suffer. Yet, I see that everyone is a victim in their own way. There's a web of suffering for the characters. Besides Lucaon who lost his parents and was traumatized, and almost lost Kyon, and Kyon who made those painful attempts to leave Lucaon, Christoph suffered in his own way before he became a servant for the aristocrats. ://
We could see that Edwin didn't even care for Christoph when the older brother asked, "Why do your wounds take so long to heal?" We saw Christoph get mistreated last chapter, and Cecilia even said this chapter, "Some families are a bit sensitive about illegitimate children and cast them out." We know Christoph is part of Intron and is in contact with Edwin, so we can't say for sure if Christoph was kicked out of his family or not, but he clearly wasn't treated with love and respect. I'm not saying Christoph's actions are forgivable, but I certainly feel sad to know Christoph is just so AFRAID.
Christoph is a young adult who flinched at the slightest human contact. :(( Christoph couldn't trust or form loving bonds with anyone. Christoph is just used as a tool to fulfill Intron's missions/listen to Edwin's orders, which is like Kyon. I'm grateful Kyon has Lucaon by his side, but what about Christoph? Christoph must be so touched by Ryan's care and gentleness; I bet Ryan was the first person to tell Christoph, "It is my job to protect you," which demonstrates that Christoph is valuable and cared for, and a pat on the head from Ryan wasn't threatening, but tender... Ryan even acknowledged Christoph, "You're so nice," unlike Edwin who would just order Christoph around like a robot. ://
I'm not certain whether Christoph has romantic feelings for Ryan or not... But I can say that it seems Ryan has shown Christoph that our young mixed-blood isn't simply a tool. Based on what we've seen so far, it seems Christoph has just lived his life being mistreated and obediently followed Edwin's orders, without being ALLOWED to have his own autonomy and consider his own desires. ://
There is still more we could learn about Christoph. I certainly think Christoph isn't intended to be a character who is supposed to be 100% evil, otherwise the authors would not need to write his backstory and get -at least some of us- sympathetic. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Maybe it would have been better if Christoph's memories were erased like Kyon's memories... Maybe Christoph could have embraced the new people around him and form meaningful bonds. But sadly, Christoph was conflicted: the poor boy knew and was told to follow orders, but he didn't know what to do when Ryan was so kind to him... If Christoph's plan was simply "...to approach [Ryan], and earn his trust. ...find out what he's up to, and report it to [Edwin]," maybe the story wouldn't have been as complicated as it is now. Unless Christoph was ordered by Edwin to poison Lucaon, does that mean Christoph chose to poison Lucaon on his own? And what for? To protect Ryan because Christoph knows Ryan would protect Lucaon? Maybe getting rid of Lucaon would mean that Ryan would have less duties on his shoulders and likelier to be safe??
When Edwin noticed, "You seem a bit...different, somehow," and Christoph shared that Ryan "seems like a nice person," there was a change on Christoph's part. Christoph was no longer the robot Edwin knew; Christoph developed his own opinions on a person and was no longer afraid of physical contact like he used to be. When emotions are involved, the mastermind loses the complete control they used to have over their minions.
Not related to Christoph at all, I do like that we know Cecilia is the head of the Dominus family. It's refreshing to not see a patriarchal family. Even the Selvior family had Lucaon's mom sit at the head of the dining table. :))

Royal Servant has not been clearly a black or white story though, so I think to judge Christoph as a character who deserves to be punished for only his actions is unfair. If characters who have done evil deserve to be punished, the same could be said for Lucaon and Kyon.
Lucaon raped and used Kyon as a sex outlet at the beginning of the story. Lucaon also threatened Karis and almost hurt the poor servant, without any consideration of how hurt Sihan would be if Karis were injured. Readers seem to ignore Lucaon's past actions, because of how much Lucaon loves Kyon by taking care of the youngster and finally engaging in consensual sex. Lucaon said he would treat Kyon well, but he never said the word "sorry" for all the terrible things he has done LOL. Kyon's emotional confusion while he was with Lucaon should never happen to anyone. And I don't think being traumatized excuses people for disrespecting others either.
Kyon almost killed Lucaon when the Selvior family's mansion was attacked. Yet, readers don't seem angry at Kyon because Kyon did not have his own autonomy at the time. What's different about Kyon and Christoph is that the former lost his memories, so he behaved and was confused, while the latter kept his memories, but it doesn't change the fact that he lacks autonomy... :/
Readers could clearly hate Ryan for telling Kyon to leave Lucaon and when Ryan was even happy when Kyon cut his own neck, but now the attention is shifted to Christoph, so some people may have moved on from that. Maybe readers forgive Ryan because he apologized to Kyon and won't hurt our poor servant anymore.
I think a character could be hateful if they had the ill will and actions combined. I don't know if Lucaon knew what he himself desired when he mistreated Kyon, but we learned overtime that he is caring and loving but needed time to open himself to others again after his family trauma. We know Kyon would never willingly choose to hurt Lucaon and would rather kill himself instead. And Ryan just wants to protect the Selvior family, so he chose Lucaon over Kyon. I don't see why people are hating Christoph, who once again, lacks autonomy and was living life the only way he knows it (following Edwin's orders). I think people could argue that Christoph could have changed after being a servant by not listening to Edwin's orders anymore, but that's easier said than done; Christoph doesn't even know what it means to have his own autonomy, and he was just beginning to learn that through Ryan.
Is this difficult for some readers to see? Kyon and Lucaon have each other, so at least they can comfort each other. But poor Christoph is alone... :// Even though Christoph lives with Karis and Sihan, Christoph can't tell them he's part of Intron, or that he's conflicted because he cares for Ryan, but he feels obligated to follow Edwin's orders. It's a lonely life to live when you can't share your concerns with anyone. ┗( T﹏T )┛So, why not hate Edwin for contributing to Christoph’s tragedy, as well as Kyon’s and Lucaon’s tragedies?

┗( T﹏T )┛I AM TOO HAPPY. It is almost 2 AM in my time zone and I JUMPED at a new update!! I COULDN'T STOP SMILING THIS ENTIRE CHAPTER!!
The conversation in the bathtub was just PEHQWOR QP FJFPS F A THE BEST!!! <333 I love their honesty with each other!! Making hairstyles for each other and looking each other in the eye, these moments give me FEELS. And I love the self-introductions, which they actually haven't done seriously before LOL. I love the honesty with their relationship histories and those confessions!!
Good luck to Junyoung on his dream of having a restaurant! I love Sihoon's reason for not working at the plastic surgery clinic anymore: he can't work with someone he doesn't trust, and that's perfectly valid. I don't know how he would have continued to go to work and face the man (a cheater) who secretly dated his sister behind his back... :/ Sihoon will certainly find a better job!
Damn, Sihoon's response to what his dream was, "Feeding off on you? Can I take a bite? Looking at you makes me want to just eat you and devour you completely. You brat." The kiss, the hug and the licking.... ;----------; Just love the way Sihoon loves Junyoung. And Junyoung's shy, yet he's still shows interest like when he was counting their age gap (LOL) and asking why Sihoon is unemployed. Their personalities are different, yet they certainly match each other very well. :))
I love that Junyoung has no more fear to ask questions!! Sihoon and Junyoung better not have communication problems in the future LOL!!
And OMG, Junyoung staring at Daddy because you want to see him cook with just an apron on. ;))) Go strip him yourself!! XDD Can I say I LOVE that Junyoung thought Sihoon would know what he meant by, "Have you ever wanted to try that thing?" X)) Sihoon was so cute when he answered, "What thing?" and I love Junyoung's casual, "You know, where you cook with only an apron on." I'd be embarrassed to blurt that out loud, but WOO, Junyoung, love the boldness ma boy!! <33
And OH, the sex at the beginning of this chapter (▰˘◡˘▰) I love that Sihoon sat up and held Junyoung. <33 Love that Junyoung was passionately wrapping his arms around Sihoon too and after both parties ejaculated, it was so tender when Sihoon cherished Junyoung by placing one hand on the youngster's head and the other on his back. <33 Junyoung was trembling and I love Sihoon's attentiveness.
If you know more sweet stories like this where both parties go all-out, I'd be happy to read them.ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Ji Hye-Kyung is doing an excellent job at demonstrating flawed characters, which makes them feel relatable or more real.
We know Sihoon isn't always affectionate with his wording. Sihoon doesn't always express himself well in words. Sihoon instead translates his feelings into actions, which we've seen plenty of times when Daddy is in bed. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Makeup sex may be Junyoung and Sihoon’s go-to route to resolve problems (≧∀≦)
I like that Ji Hye-Kyung demonstrates that although Junyoung and Sihoon are happily together, disputes could still happen. I like that Sihoon actually told Junyoung, “Don’t push it. I’m feeling negative right now, so things might get dangerous.” Sihoon tells Junyoung that he’s not in a jolly mood, so that’s a warning and Junyoung won't be too surprised if Daddy isn't enthusiastic in his response(s). Instead of backing away, I love that Junyoung expresses his curiosity by asking, “Why? Dangerous how?” I like that they’re willing to chat, instead of keeping their thoughts to themselves like they did when the misunderstanding was ongoing.
I LOL-ed when I saw the look on Sihoon’s face when our Daddy sighed after Junyoung wrapped his legs around the older man, and questioned his bigger body, sniffed him after realizing he put on cologne, and started feeling his chest and wondered if our uke should start working out too at the same gym. xDD Junyoung’s cute; that curiosity of his makes me want to pat him on the head. I still remember how stressed Junyoung was during the misunderstanding, so it makes me happy to see our uke so carefree :)
I love that Sihoon calls himself Junyoung’s lover so proudly. ;) “What? Were you pretending to be asleep? Get up and walk. Your lover’s back is breaking.” <3 I see where Junyoung is coming from though… If I had a lover like Sihoon, I’d want him to carry me too. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
Chapter 54 had cute moments between Sihoon and Junyoung too. I find it cute that Junyoung called Sihoon when he woke up, which shows that Junyoung does think of Sihoon. Junyoung may not say it, but I think he felt lonely to wake up in bed without Sihoon beside him… x)) It was cute again when Sihoon mentioned that he was thinking of asking Junyoung to work out together and Junyoung’s “I’ll just wait for you” made me grin. (Now, of course, Junyoung could have said, “I miss you” or “I want [to see] you,” which would have made Daddy grin so much ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ ) These cute lovebirds were thinking of each other!! ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
I like that Daddy keeps his cool distance from others. That trainer wanted to have a drink with Sihoon, but Daddy coolly declined. When the trainer exclaimed, “You told me you weren’t the dating type,” I love Sihoon’s “Did I do something wrong? Do I have to look for another trainer?”, which shows that he wasn't interested in the trainer or cheating on Junyoung. And Sihoon’s “I thought we had an understanding. Too bad. I liked this gym,” reminds me of the time Daddy was at the restaurant Junyoung works at and wondered if there was octopus because he was hungry. I just lol at this dork’s cuteness. (≧∀≦) He just has his moments when he talks to himself and wonders, ‘What’s your problem?’ HAHA. Sihoon’s a cutie.
These dorks are lovely because after the misunderstanding, they let their thoughts be known and talk it out. If Sihoon wants Junyoung to listen more often, that's okay too. It's important to be an engaging listener. And even though Sihoon didn't take off Junyoung's clothes, it was pleasant to see Junyoung take off his own pants and initiate the sex.
What did Mari do to be blessed with two cute men in her life? Σ( ̄□ ̄||) As a fujoshi, it would be my pleasure to support these dorks instead of being unnecessarily dramatic. (● ̄(エ) ̄●) My thoughts on why Sihoon’s feeling negative and on Mari are here, if you want to read and discuss :) -> http://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/3260649/
