why is everyone so mean to the translator yes i can’t understand anything but it’s bearable this manga haven’t updated in months i’m just grateful bro we’re reading this for free anyway i don’t think we have the right to complain
Baby! Dude! Be completely serious I think we can all agree we’ve read bad translations after all we are on an illegal reading site, but this was truly unbearable. This manga is based in a fantasy world…. Why are they saying slang and also nothing makes sense, ya dig?

i mean just cope? either we translate it ourselves or we buy the official book. like i said the stuff here is free, yes, even if it all seems google translated and makes no sense, the fact that there was any update at all after months is already a miracle. i see people slamming the translator into the abyss, why don’t people just do it themselves then?? it’s really not that horrible as far bad translation go, just wait for another 500 years or so and then maybe some kind soul will post the official translation. i understand the frustration if we paid or something but it is quite literally free

Is there actually an official translation? If not, that makes fan translations the only option. Also, I appreciate you defending the translator as doing a good deed/providing a service, but the experience of the reader is a valuable consideration too. people have a right to give feedback on something that is posted, for free, on the internet (that's kind of the ethos of the internet, right?). in this case, I think the translator has to be aware that they're going to get some flack for their translation, which is wildly off-tone. it seems like a bit of a prank, and like any joke, it's open to criticism and people not finding it funny. i hope these thoughts have added a bit of perspective. it's okay not to like something that is given to you for free. neither the giver nor the receiver is wrong in their feelings.

yes i agree with your point, people are allowed to dislike something, people are allowed to have a negative opinion about things on the internet but im not pressed about that. what im trying to get at here is people are being unnecessarily rude. im sure you’ve seen the comments? they are outright mean and quite horrible, i suppose you can say that it’s the internet, nobody is gonna be nice, which is understandable too. However that also give me the right to have a negative opinion of their opinion. In addition, with your point that ‘the reader’s experience must be valued too’, it would be understandable if you had paid any money for this, if you had lost anything for this, you can argued you wasted time, however, if you saw from the beginning that the translation was horrible, you should’ve known what you’re getting yourself into. i suppose the conclusion i’m getting at here is that people could’ve just said “this translation was so bad LOL” and that could’ve been the end, and i wouldn’t have cared, because that was the truth. However people were saying things like “never translate again”, “delete this trash” “i hope you have a horrible day or your hair falls out”.

My annoyance and rudeness also stems from the fact that they covered up the real translation to put theirs. It seems like they’re playing a joke…?

those are definitely not nice things for commenters to say, and I didn't actually see any of those comments. however, what the translator did was also not very nice and was actually fairly disrespectful towards the mangaka's original work. I think this is something that often gets lost in conversations about fan translations, but I believe that a certain amount of respect should always be paid to the original text and its author, which for my part is why bad translations can make me unhappy. But I understand that you are saying 'two wrongs don't make a right', and I am inclined to agree.
I think at the end of the day, this translator deserves neither praise nor defense because although they produced a translation, it was categorically inappropriate, particularly for a fantasy-style manga. and as much as they may be reading these reviews (or not, which I think is more likely) it may at least be helpful for them to see that their style of translation was *not* well-received. ultimately, if they are going to continue producing translations I think that's something they should hear sooner rather than later, or they will just keep creating unenjoyable content.
WHY IS SHE SORRY THAT SHE “MADE HIM QUIT” YOU REASSURED HIM LIKE 3 TIMES THAT YOULL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO HIM HE DID THIS TO HIMSELF, VOLUNTARILY.
I my opinion its because she feel guilty that she got caught and she wanted to take the blame only onto herself not him, so even though he voluntarily denounced himself, she still feels guilty about it :D
