this feels like a sensitive topic but I think the sister is right. the way she handles it however, was completely wrong, but I’m sure it was out of anger and frustration of having family that was close just isolate themselves like that for YEARS. mc is taking the easy way out, rather than confronting the actual problem. and if he just had a good conversation with his parents and acted like an adult, he wouldn’t have to keep carrying such a burden. clearly his father loved him and he just wanted him to be happy and have a good future, even at the cost of his own integrity
