honestly, accurate translation or not, you get the gist of it. if you can't accept that this is fan translated cry about it or pay for the chapter. fucking whining babies.
Obviously people care about the dialogue, otherwise people wouldn't be commenting about it. I read the raws on Lezhin because I want to read the story as the author wrote it; who wants to read someone else's take on the story, especially when it's inaccurate? If I wanted porn, I'd go to myreadingmanga. For a story, the gist isn't enough. Aren't you the whiny one?
Plot wise though it is highly flawed. The comic relies on a lot of Kdrama tropes, it has awful pacing, and both MC's really are not endearing. The author glossing over rape was ridiculous.
* and content wise it is mostly sex, even in these new chapters when they are meant to be a couple it till is showing mostly sex scenes and kdrama extravaggent shallow dates/hotels as opposed to addressing anything more substantial, like showing details of their apparently major conversation, having them be a couple in their normal daily lives and what would change, would they come out, will jiwon continue to work in the sex industry etc or find a different job
I know it's not a Pulitzer and I agree with pretty much all of that, except the sex part (the manhwa had a lack of sex for a long time, ALSO this is a yaoi, some sex is expected + they just became a couple, so sex again is expected, though I hate that the author just bypassed the conversation), but I still want to read it to get to the end, and I pay to read it, so what's it to you? Dialogue matters to me.
true, some people do care. i'm sorry if you or anyone else was offended and ticked off by my ignorant generalization.
still though, tell me how the fan translation affects the flow of the story enough to completely alter what the chapter is about. they reconciled (no particular long dialogues of importance at all) and had sex. what kind important dialogue do people need to understand that esp if they're not willing to pay for it? good for you if you pay but don't fight for those who cant, dont and wont because demands can only go so far when you cant make any ammendments for it.
wanting the best is completely okay but if you're in a position where you just wait for someone's grace, what right do you have to complain and demand when someone else offered the thing you want but is slightly lacking? call me whiny but people need to know their place.
see that's what im saying. you pretty much don't really fancy the story but you wanna know what happens as accurately as possible and you pay for it so it's not anybody's business but other people who can't and won't pay share the same opinion but they don't really have a right to complain about the fan translation because they get shit for free. those are the whiny babies. you're not really supposed to be involved in this kinda discussion but because i said something silly you had to be.
yo i know the king is meddling too much but there's nothing wrong with wanting to have someone like elise in your family. he's not even giving elise that much of a hard time cause with all her knowledge she'll win the bet without question. there's no reason to be so mad. he's basically doing elise a favor unintentionally by motivating her to achieve more.
the only real struggles that elise is facing rn is the fact that she knows that her family and the people in their country will die because of smth at some point. both the epidemic and war is inevitable. there simply needs to be a guarantee of safety for everyone. which is hard but that's the struggle that she has to conquer. and one that is more significant than their bet.
