they should put an age limit for this. seems like a lot of kids are triggered and stuck with mc syndrome.
everybody complaining about how he's doing things. yall do not understand why he's killing everyone at all. it's fucked up and it lumps him exactly with the fl's father but that's exactly the point.
that's what revenge is. fl's father didn't care that his family has done literally NOTHING wrong. they were killed just because. so he's using that same logic.
"if they have anything useful for me i'll let them live, otherwise everyone should die"
fl is just one of everybody that's useless to him. the only reason you guys care about her is because she's the main character. wake up. there's other innocent people in there too. but it doesn't matter. they'll all die because everybody died in his family and he'll giving it back tenfold.
Oh my gosh fr, I only read a few comments below yours and had to stop because I just can't. People are missing the whole point of this story and the issues with their pasts - I wouldn't call their dynamic unhealthy per se (yes, she is currently technically the one with power, but considering she knows who he truly is, they become p equal in standing). Like the whole point, to me, so far, seems to be redemption and healing from them both. Both were wronged, and now they're trying to fix it. It takes time, but slowly they're changing each other's views, how they're going to act, and healing from their trauma.
For the ML as well, p much from the beginning since we saw his perspective we got to know he isn't human: as a nameless, homeless child he knew exactly how old he was; he seemed to lack human emotions in the same degree we deem "normal" (and learning about these through his family); and then there's the whole being the God's Chosen One. People really are forgetting that he died as a child, woke up as an adult, and was immediately thrusted into this role of a hero. He kept battling the evil entity for days, getting slashed and hurt many, many times - he'd live as long as his heart or head was intact - but he still felt all the pain. And having to repeat that? No wonder he went insane!
Is a perfect ML? No, of course he isn't. That's what makes this interesting. Like redemption is the point here (from both of their POVs!!) and it just wouldn't make sense to have someone else be the ML. They could do the friendship/found family trope, but we all know it's not going there ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Sorry, didn't proofread before sending. By human, I meant that these are qualities what people tend to associate with "humanity" and things that he would learn from the people around him - so of course, when he is stripped of all that, it would fuck him up more. But yeah, in some other ways it also applies to him, considering he's almost immortal.
they want perfect main characters and it's just so ughh i wanted to check the comments to see if people also appreciate the progress and the pace they're going with this story cause it's been so good so far. it only makes sense that they've both died so many times to reach this point. like look at my babies finally getting along
thank god smarter comments are burying the dumb ones. i keep forgetting this isnt an afult only site.
