I wish all comic sites could provide free webcomics like webtoon. You could pay money for early access or something additional feature like that.
Or maybe something like monthly or yearly subscriptions to the site rather than buying chapters individually.
This might actually encourage people to read more comics on the official sites rather than the pirated ones and we would also be directly supporting the authors.
But well, not everything can go as smoothly as we wish for it to be. And there must be a reason as to why these options don’t get implemented.

I’d rather pay per chapter than a subscription, because 8 may only be interested in a series or two. That wouldn’t justify (for me) paying for a whole subscription.
But then wouldn't it make sense for you to be able to subscribe to a book rather than pay for each chapter ? kinda like the way YouTube works. There's channels you can only acces If you pay , channels you can pay to get extra content from and channels you don't have to pay for at all and the site itself is free

Second, I don’t think us willing to pay a subscription rather than paying for each chapter mean that we don’t want the authors to get paid because of course we do want them to get paid for their hard work.
It’s just that buying each chapter can get kind of expensive for people like me who don’t earn themselves.
An author can still get a salary from a part of the subscriptions that we pay just like they do with the coins. The pays can get negotiated according to the views to maintain equity.
