Internalized homophobia is difficult to deal with. Keito seems to be a cutie tsundere type deep down so I hope he can work his insecurities out and view the world a lot more kindly. It'd be nice if he had his own story since he mentioned having someone he likes and wonder how that'll mix with his narrow world views

So, I caved in and read the novel, here are some things I think ppl might like to know (no spoilers of plot, just publishing info)
The manga is currently a bit past the middle of the first novel
There are actually two other books Nikurashii Kare (2) and Nayamashii Kare (3) and a volume with side stories of their daily lives (so there's still A LOT of their story to come)
The first novel has been both fan translated and officially released in English so you can read it for free of buy on Amazon (there's a Kindle version)
The 2 sequels have not been fan translated completely, i saw someone link the tumblr page of someone who outlined the whole plot of the books with details, and some ppl translated a few scenes from the books and the extra volume but not the whole thing
Last, both sequels are getting an official English version (idk if they'll be on kindle or what price tho) the 2nd book releases the end of this year and the 3rd sometime next year
