Cale wasn't the 2nd main lead, but more a stepping stone (villain) for main lead, and our Kim Rok Soo (I hope I wrote his name correctly) becomes this trash and tries not to die and have a slacker's life lol

ML keeps asking for to cancel the engagement and bring different women in so the FL has to try hard to change herself according to the ML's last (she does this by doing better than the women he brings) but one day she got fed up so when the ML tried to ask to cancel the engagement (which by now has become a routine, more like the gag of the manga) she said yes and left the place.it turns out the ML brings women in so the FL can put her attention to him.
