not all stories are meant to be realistic!!! and mc was obviously going to end up with stockholm syndrome you can’t just blame him for it!!! he isn’t a poorly written character, if anything the author is doing a great job at getting people to see both shitty sides of the characters and mc didn’t know the brother in hs it was after hs that they ended up becoming related.. it wouldn’t hurt to re read the story
Well thats whats am saying, the story isnt realistic or human, its just an excuse to be edgy.
And youre right not all stories are meant to be realistic, but when youre talking about such a heavy subject you need to put in mind that the characters may have heavy reactions (which the author forgot to do) and tbh those "heavy reactions" is what makes a good story.

I started reading it untill chp 80, and dropped it, but picked it up again and read like only 2 chapters. After i realized how much of a big mistake that was i broke up with it again to only now pick it up and regret ever doing so.

Like for ex: What if one party doesn't like it? They didnt discuss a safe word or boundaries so everything in the dark.
This kind of stuff can border to sexual violence more than just intercourse.
Thats why so many people are labeling this situation "scary" not because the smut has turned 'rough' but bcuz the characters are doing undiscussed stuff that might have very negative consequences.

And sex with Kang was already pretty rough to begin with.

If he didn't change then there wouldn't be any character development. I'm just stumped that it's something to be sad about. Since the OG series, Kang discovers something new about himself, this is another one. I don't think we lost him, it's just that we are being told he is already beyond crazy in love and its not a relationship he can simply just move on, so much so he's becoming younger, meeting Ahn halfway than always taking the high road. Up to this point, it was always Ahn who was adventurous, spunky, and impulsive. So nothing should have been lost, only added or improved for the sake of their relationship....
