I honestly don’t think Ash would do anything to put their relationship in jeopardy. Even if he was serious about Hazel and had a bond, I think he cares too much for Lyle to do anything with Hazel anymore. I think he’s going to make his feelings clear to Hazel and say that although they had something at one point, that he’s with Lyle now and only sees a future with him.

*spoilers* - again, this is a condensed version. Obviously a lot more happens, but you get the overall gist. MC just doesn’t have anything good going for him in this story.
Surprise surprise, what do we have here?
MC is basically tormented and constantly assaulted over and over again for pretty much the entire story. He “escapes” again at one point but Haeyoung finds him. It’s going to be a while before you see anything remotely “happy” happen. Haeyoung sometimes has delusions and even hallucinations at times which causes him to harm himself as well. At the end, both MC and Haeyoung confess their love for one another and Haeyoung apologizes for not realizing his own feelings sooner. That’s it. That’s how the main story ends.
In the side story, years pass and they are still together. For the most part they have a “normal” relationship. Haeyoung still has violent thoughts and desires but holds them back. MC slowly gets better but is obviously still dealing with severe trauma, which is shown when he has breakdowns when something triggers him. Although Haeyoung isn’t SA or physically abusing MC anymore, he is still quite controlling as in the chapters we have seen already and gets jealous extremely quickly over the smallest things.

Manhwa isn’t completed but you can find more chapters of the RAWS if you just search it in Google. I forget what website I read it from. Similarly, the novel isn’t in English and I was never able to find it on free sites, so you’ll have to go to the official publisher to buy it, and then translate it if you want to read it. If you’re just wanting a more in depth summary of the rest of the story, someone did write a summary of the rest of the story (from the novel) on a blogpost. Which you can find on Novel Updates Forum.

Yeah. I’m usually someone who doesn’t mind non-con content, abuse, toxicity, shitty MLs, etc. and usually hope for a good redemption arc. This is the first story I’ve read where I genuinely didn’t want a redemption arc and just wanted MC to get away from them for good, so it was disappointing to see that he chose to stay. And mind you, his abuse gets even worse compared to what we see in the chapters here so it’s wild he chooses to stay. But I’m guessing this is a combination of him being trauma bonded, as well as him just being so used to abuse considering his family did it, and then his only friends did it as well.

Okayy thanks for your answer! But honestly guys i think we are totally wrong if we hope (or expect) for any redemption arc or even a "happy ending" for haewon like escaping from all his tormentors and living by himself freely. I think the exact point of the author is to show crazy abusive relationship and how sometimes you cant escape it even if you try (which happens a lot irl) i think its pretty clear with juste the title...

I’ve seen a lot of comments about how he was horrible in his past life and such. Idk if I happened to skip over a portion of the story, or if it was hinted at and I didn’t realize, or if there is some other way people know.
But how did you get to that conclusion? I’m genuinely curious because while reading, I didn’t think about that at all.

you can read a major spoiler here if you haven't yet: https://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/16897764/?page=1

Wasn’t a huge fan of the art style at first but it kind of grew. At first the story was cute and enough to keep me engaged, especially since I love teacher X student dynamics. However, after you get about halfway through the manga, pretty much EVERY chapter is only 6-8 pages long, 2 pages of which that always end up being title/info pages. It was annoying enough to the point where I almost DNF.
I absolutely loved this story. Loved the characters, the plot, everything…but the ending? It just seems so random. Not that it’s outlandish to see him end up in a facility like that all things considered, but it went from one scene of him about to die, to them being in a facility and moving on in a split second. We hardly got to see MC actually deal with everything that happened with the hypnosis when he finally had his memories coming back from it.
