whys majority of the readers mad that this isn't BL? yeah we're all sad about ruyiji but I think it's not uncommon tbh. most queer people have unfortunately experienced liking someone they know would never reciprocate their feelings back. why can't we just be happy that mc is finally happy and can express himself the way he wants even infront of his mother now? this manga helped me with my own gender identity crisis and I think that's what matters the most to me.

no actually, theres a prequel of this manga that brings us bk to their middle school days where ryuji is spiralling and distancing himself fm makoto cuz he feels so overwhelmed of his feelings for makoto despite him being a boy. (cant find any eng translations btw raws r avaliable on line webtoon)
I liked it, I'm sad for ryuiji though. and the ending was a bit rushed imo. I'm glad the author got their anime adaptation hope it's not as rushed in the end (ps I loveeee the mc's dad and his constant support for his child)

It's the low self esteem messing with her brain. Her friends are ahead of her in terms of love and relationships so she most likely thinks that hosoya is her best shot at love and that she won't get a chance like this again.
